Fabulous location and view. 2nd to none.
Lovely historical building.
Bathroom really poor for level of hotel.
Breakfast very mediocre. Lots of staff but not even the coffee was good.
Staff generally were indifferent.
For the money and reputation we expected so much more. There are better hotels in Corfu town in this price bracket.

The view, the room, the location and the breakfast! Everything was near the hotel and the vie was breathtaking! It was really calm and quiet!

The view was perfect.
Internet (wifi) was unusable in our room (31), which was reported to reception
Although the view was perfect it was very noisy from traffic and people on the street, which is no fault of the hotel, but however something people should bear in mind if they stay there.
A little more information in the rooms about facilities might be helpful
The shower was difficult to get in and out off, and use, the shower head was too low.
The room did not have tea or coffee making facilities, which we would have liked
Even though the roof top restaurant wasnt open at this time, it would still have been nice to have access to it so sit and enjoy the view of Corfu town.

Breakfast was okay but not fantastic. Location was excellent for the sights in Corfu town. The room and the public areas were elegantly appointed. Bottled water provided every day.
No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Tables very close together in breakfast room, especially uncomfortable when a large group staying at the hotel. I was unable to get the heat/air conditioning to work properly so room was too warm at times.

Location is good
This hotel has so much potential, but it’s in need of a serious upgrade. It appears very worn and the facitilies are not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Have used this hotel for overnight stays for many years now. Always a pleasure to be here, the staff is kind and helpful, the location is fantastic - only 10 mins from the airport - and the roof terrace restaurant with its sea view is of course a great asset. You walk into the city straight out of the hotel, the sea is in front and there are restaurants and coffee shops around the corner.
airconditioning lacks enough power, but at least there is some relief.

Absolutely stunning location. History of building. Kind staff.
Bathroom- needed little bit more attention with cleaning (between shower glass and wall or hairdryer full of dust/dirty) Apart of it all was ok.

Staff were amazing and helpful with all our needs. The hotel was central to everything. Would definitely come again.

Breakfast was lovely. The staff made sure the items were refreshed as soon as items got close to getting low, and ensured everyone wore a mask and protective gloves to make selections and add to your plate. I felt this worked well, and I felt that everyone could be confident of cleainess and health safety. Excellent/friendly staff. Great job!
With limited parking available in the area, the staff really did a wonderful job in making sure everyone with a car was in a parking space very close to the hotel. It was very helpful and appreciated. Thank you!
Smoking in the corridors/hallways was off-putting, but this is not the fault of the hotel, but rather inconsiderate guests.

Our room had an incredible view, the location is great and the staff were exceptional.
The beds were hard and I notice mould on the base of the bed.
Breakfast could be so much better, the ‘hot’ food was cold and the selection wasn’t great. It would be good if the breakfast was simplified to use fresh, local produce, not tinned fruit etc.
Barista coffee, fresh fruit and pastries would be so much better.

No air conditioning although Booking.com had said there was. Barely a sea view. Loud snoring in adjacent room every night. no tea making facilities in room, was requested but ‘no can do’. No room service, no catering. One TV channel in English out of 30. Dark, outdated decor. Very cheap toiletry.

Perfect location and spectacular view. Wellcoming and superfriendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Close to the airport, and almost all places of sightseeing.
Despite impressive lobby, the accomodation of the room is outdated, in demand of upgrade and renovation. Two joined beds instead of one double, with uncomfortable most likely old matrasses. Lack of soundproof - the noise from the street and literally you can clearly hear the water flushed and tank refilled in the next room at night.

The hotel is very modern and luxurious and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
