We could walk to fun restaurants with great food, to a coffee shop with home made beignets, the grocery store, and even the trolley! It was also close to our niece who lives in Mid City. There were seven of us, and the villa has great open space for cooking, eating and spending quality time together! It was great having a double garage in a secured area protected by a gate. Great communication with the management company.

Overall it was a great stay, but this is a all the time VRBO people do not live here so don’t expect any rugs game or regular things that you would see you in a persons home. It has bare-bones essentials. Apparently it was perfect for us and our kids just make sure to bring toys so the downstairs bedroom does not have a bathroom on the same floor so whoever stays there hast to go up the stairs to go to the restroom and two sets of stairs to shower. It was in close proximity to a good coffee shop and the trolley to get downtown. I would stay there again by.

It was a great place. One criticism from our family was that the two bedrooms with queen beds—both rooms had few hangers and absolutely no drawers or dresser to unpack.

The property was clean and well-appointed. Walking distance to a nice supermarket and a couple of New Orleans’ best restaurants — Mandina’s and Katie’s. Trolley to Harrah’s, French Quarter and Garden District a short walk away. The only issue with property was locating remote controls for TVs which we did soon enough.

The property was clean and nice it turn out ok for the group that came everyone had they own room. I recommend this property we was right down the street from Bourbon street not to far. I will be coming back again

Great to visit New Orleans but...The property we stayed at had a few hiccups that were not divulged to us prior to our stay. The listing stated there was a fully stocked kitchen and pantry items, which we would expect at a VRBO. However, the stove didn't even work! We found this out after buying $200 worth of food. When I contacted the host they replied immediately and put me in contact with the property manager, who was d as Leo very nice and tried to make every right. However when I spoke to the person on site I was told that the stove had been down for two weeks and we were not contacted. They then moved my family to another unit, which meant moving all of our unpacked belongings and good, to another unit. We were told this unit did not have internet but they would have it fixed by that evening. It was not. We were then given a personal router after having to reach out again. The second unit was also not as updated with as the first as far as the furnishings in the living room and dining room area.
Overall, the people I contacted were very nice and helpful in the end but I shouldn't of had to have all of those disturbances on vacation.

Everything was great outside of the fact we didn’t have a working stove so our food was wasted outside what we could do with the provided hot plate. Also the garage door could never be opened with the code. We had to send someone through the front to open the garage from the inside. Pool was pretty saddening as well, but wasn’t a huge focal point for us. Other than this let down, we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect. Seriously. We walked 5 minutes to breakfast to a different location each morning.
5 minute walk to street car stop which we rode all over the city for our excursions.
Walked to dinner for two nights- Katie’s and Mandinas. Both were wonderful.
The place is large and very cozy

Perfect Location with Plenty of Space
This location was in the perfect spot! It was only 1 block from the public transportation (runs every 10 to 15 min). We had plenty of space for everyone as well and everything was perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Our group of two couples had a great time at Jazz Fest this year. The unit was comfortable and suited our needs. Having a private garage to park in was great. It was easy to get to nearby restaurants and a local grocery store.

NOLA Visit
We had a nice stay at this property - very spacious and as described. My biggest complaints were that we had to get out of the car to enter the gate code and then again to enter the garage code, which wouldn’t be such a big deal, but the location is in the heart of all the New Orleans carjackings, so I was worried to death every time I had to hop out and leave my young child in the car. We would’ve loved to have a wine opener too, but not a deal breaker. The place was clean, but could use a good DEEP CLEANING. I would definitely return and recommend to others.

Was a nice and clean place. So many beds made it great four our large crowd (but no extra blankets so may want to bring some). Turned out to be such a great location in the middle of everything New Orleans has you would want to go.

Beautiful place, right near the trolley for easy access to the action.
Had a wonderful time, place was beautiful. Really close to great spots like Katie’s, Luizza’s and the Wrong Iron… quick walk to the trolley if you’re heading to where all the action is.

We'll Be Back
The property is just as advertised. When we return to NOLA, we will definitely stay here again. We had an issue with only being provided 2 washcloths for our party of 7. While I was initially told this was standard, I later spoke with a reputations manager who assured me it was not and that she would ensure this doesn't happen to future guests. If you're looking for a great, clean, and secure place to stay, this Bienville Villa is perfect!
