quirky room with only 2 very small windows in the ceiling. the electric blinds of the one above the bed was broken (hôtel did not manage to repair it) so we were woken up by day light in our face (since the window was in the ceiling…) very early

Hotel like home without owner - there is everything , but nothing perfect. The fridge in our room was broken. There was not the hair dryer in the room, we need to ask. Nice cosmetics in the bathroom ( gel, shampoo), but there are”nt cosmetic pads. There were bathrobes, but not slippers ( wooden floor). The lack of light in the room.

Too dark in the room. Location is not close to any main food store. Breakfast is limited - you can't order much and there isn't much to chose from. Very disappointed!

- unfortunately we got a room facing the street (noise from cars and trams, some guy using a leave blower at 7 am in the morning) - breakfast service nice, but very slow - faulty design of the bathroom (extremely wet after taking a shower)

The location of Backstage hotel is great. It is right by the ABBA museum (which is an amazing attraction), and a few seconds from public transportation. The room is nice and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, and the coffee is great. The staff is very friendly and attended to our needs efficiently and with a smile.

I would definitely install a few USB ports in the room.

This hotel was a great location for what we wanted. It’s on the island Djurgården which has stunning views and walks as well as lots of activities and only a 10 min walk to the city and the restaurants on Strandvägen. We also went to the Theme Park which was literally next to the hotel, (you could not hear a sound of the theme park when in the hotel which was good). We really enjoyed our stay as we wanted to be just outside from the buzzing city but still close. Breakfast was amazing too!

The only thing that did not make me give this 10 stars is due to the interior in the lobby/reception area which felt very dark.

As soon as we checked in, I knew that we were going to have a good stay! The Hotel is situated to the side of the ABBA museum which was the main reason we wanted to stay there. The Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and my daughter especially liked the Swedish cinnamon toast. The beds were super comfy and we both slept really well. The bathroom (although small and compact) was very clean and the shower was good. We had our towels changed every day. The reception staff were super friendly and answered all our questions on local restaurants and how to get about. The location was excellent. A tram/bus stop was right outside (No. 7) and this took us straight to the Central train station in the centre of Stockholm (took about 15 minutes). Our room was very retro and had everything we needed.

On the museum island, very convenient if you plan famous museums like Vasa and Skansen in your visit, but around 20 minutes public transport to City Hall or royal palace. The hotel is actually just above ABBA museum though we didn’t visit it. Breakfast is nice you can get warm food by ordering on the breakfast menu I like the omelette so much! The hotel room interior, I must say, is a highlight among all hotels I’ve been to. I love the cozy, calm but also a bit mysterious vibe in room design. Great experience.

We really liked the room and the location. The room was clean and with a nice decoration. The bed was very comfortable. Also, the staff was very friendly. We loved the breakfast!
