Beautiful Georgian house B&B. Very clean and comfortable. Host was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was top class, couldn’t have faulted it. Highly recommend

Cannaway House is like an old stately manor home with all the trimmings. We especially enjoyed the separate entertainment room with honesty bar. Breakfast was fantastic with more that enough to choose from. Spoil yourself and stay at Cannaway House, highly recommended.

Location, presentation of refurbished Georgian manor house, fields with horses, rabbits, hares & foxes. Hosts friendly, helpful, breakfast & our bedroom all grand.

Nothing that hosts & control over. Roads Google map sends very narrow with "blind" bends. If coming from Cork stay on main road N22& come off L2201 1km-ish past Mai Fritzs restaurant

Less chat when wevarrived as we had only ten minutes to get to the last place open for food on a Sunday night!

Room was lovely bed was really comfy kettle in room lovely china cups. Breakfast was lovely staff really friendly will definitely return and recommend.

Only issue was the shower couldn't get water going in it and didn't have time to sort it out. Wasn't the end of the world I was only there one night and I'm sure they could have fixed it for me if I had had the time to bring it up.

Beautiful setting, superb building. Wonderful rooms.

Nothing it was perfect.

The house is an old Georgian type 'Big House' and has lawns with mature trees around it. My room was double aspect and offered views of the trees on one side and green fields on the other. It is impeccably kept and, with its high ceilings and sympathetic decor, easily evokes grandeur and allows for a brief moment when one might consider being Lord of the Manor. There is a games room/bar area available for guests and I made use of the 'honesty system' when helping myself to drinks from the fridge.

My only gripe was that the enormous double shower only worked in 'limp mode' i.e. one shower head. It was frustrating to see all of the other attachments and shower heads and not be able to use them. Some kind of shelf/stand would be useful in the bathroom for the toiletry bag that one brings on such stays.
