In the heart of Montalcino!!! It felt like a time travel where we could experience how it could be to live in a town house in the past. But with all the benefits of the 21st century. Lovely room with windows and shutters to the street below or to the back yard/garden. Shared kitchen with the other few rooms (maybe 4-5 in total) what can be very nice if you don't mind to meet, talk, drink wine with fellow tourists from around the globe. I like that feeling. Breakfast is not provided but plenty of places around, the closest one just across the door. Or just buy bread, olive oil and local cured meat and cheese in the nearby shops (Coop is very close and obviously cheaper than the deli shops) and breakfast or even dinner is sorted! Prime location in Montalcino! Car park is extremely close (if there's spaces when you arrive) alternatively it's a 4-5 minute walk to the next one. The accommodation provides discounted parking ticket!!! So don't pay at the machine before check-in. Check in is actually a few steps further down the street in a wine and deli shop, so good opportunity to get a bottle on arrival 😉. However don't buy the first expensive bottle you like as there are plenty of choice in the nearby shops! But don't be fooled, wine is not cheap in Montalcino. But amazing!

The most amazing views you can imagine from the room’s rooftop terrace. a central location in the town, lovely manager to check us in.

there was not breakfast. the view was exceptional from our room and deck. the owner is very nice and has a wonderful Enoteca around the corner with excellent wines from many vintages of her family's winery as well as a good variety of cheeses & charcuterie and wines of other properties. i really enjoyed being able to drink vintages with 8 to 11 years of bottle age. the owner also supplied parking for only 4 euros a day though there were a limited # of spaces. there are also 3 parking lots where you can leave your car. you really don't need to drive as the location is so central.

an elevator! to get the fabulous view you have to walk up almost 50 stairs to get to our room with the best view. i would do it again as the extra exercise is always a good idea. i just will travel lighter next time. the lighting in the bathroom could be brighter but this is only a minor flaw.

The B&B doesn't provide breakfast. Why does it call Bed and Breakfast? It would be more appropriate only B.

B&B Musico is in a great location. Easy to get to - even by public bus from Siena, good facilities, clean and cosy. Highly recommended.
