really good and easy to arrive

for me everything is excellent

The property is very secure with a large metal gate to get into the property and a short walk to a supermarket, though the property is a bit difficult to find on a side street. There is a large 3 bedroom apartment downstairs, which must have been the original structure. Some items had been updated but other items were older. It was plenty of space for our family of 5. There are 2 bathrooms which made it easier to get ready and a full kitchen, though we didn't really use that much. The 2nd floor is pretty new. Four rooms upstairs are very nice, where our extended family stayed, and there is a nice group dining area. The breakfast is inexpensive and very good (made to order). The communication with the owner was great. We enjoyed our stay.

The upstairs is really great, but the downstairs apartment is older and was fairly noisy. They are in the process of adding more rooms directly above the apartment and there was construction noise by probably 7:30am. We contacted the owner and he had them do quiet jobs, but it seems like they should not have been doing something like that early in the morning when people are coming for vacation. They could have communicated with us about our plans for times when we'd be out touring. Also, the staff prep kitchen is directly adjacent to the apartment and there is only a door between; and for some reason there are spaces above each of the doors (maybe for air flow?). It didn't wake my kids up, but I could hear noise all the way from the back bedroom. It's also a bit dark in the lower apartment. I would stay here again, but I would communicate about these items.

The bed was super soft. The breakfast was tasty and fast to arrive. The building felt very safe.

No table to sit my laptop and type. No toiletries aside from bathroom tissue. Breakfast is the only thing served. The bar food area closes at 4 pm. Hard to get a hold of anyone during the day. I had a friend with me who picked me up at the airport and helping me bring my stuff into my room and the receptionist made my friend feel unwelcomed by saying I can't have anyone over in the room when they were only helping me with my stuff.

The guy in charge of that please it's just fabulous. He's very professional his attention to the customer goes beyond his duties. He does everything to make you feel comfortable. He treated me like sister. I'm very pleased 😀

The property is in an excellent location; it’s both safe and conveniently located within driving distance to many of the shops and attractions at and near the volcano, as well as many pleasant shopping malls and restaurants. There is also a large grocery store nearby and within walking distance in case you need to buy any essentials. We stayed in one the apartments, where you can comfortably stay as a large group or family. The common area was large and comfortable; it followed an open-space concept, with the dining room and living room located within the same area but still clearly delineated through the arrangement of furniture. The grounds and landscaping were beautiful, as well. The lobby was clean and welcoming. Communication with Denyss prior to check-in was excellent, and staff was helpful. The property is offered at an excellent value — it’s private, affordable and comfortable for what you’re paying.

The bed linen and showers weren’t as clean as I would have liked, and some of the furniture in the bedrooms was worn. The apartment isn’t air-tight, so mosquitos and other tropical insects got into the unit, and I had to be mindful to wear bug spray at all times. Though the air conditioning was a terrific commodity, I felt like cigarette smoke seeped in either through the window or the AC in our bedroom with two twin beds. If you’re sensitive to smells, this might be an issue. Finally, there was a bit of a snafu that was pretty disappointing. At check-in, I specifically asked if relatives could come to visit and/or pick us up in their cars, since we did not have our own. I was assured they could. However, when my relative parked in front of the property without blocking the entrance to pick us up, someone purporting to be the owner pulled up behind them and screamed at them to move, stating they owned the property and that he could ask them to leave. I walked out to let them know I was renting an apartment, and they claimed they couldn’t move around my relative’s car. Finally, the individual moved because he was blocking traffic and other vehicles were honking at him to move. He easily moved around my relative’s car and proceeded into the property through the unobstructed gate. My relative left really upset, and I felt awful that she had experienced that. What was a really wonderful stay was soured by that interaction. This isn’t how I want my loved ones to be treated.

The location, security and grounds with beautiful trees and birds. The owner provided some flexibility with the booking.

The property advertised a washing machine (which is why we booked it) but in fact it was laundry service at an additional charge. The showers where not clean and the hot water was unavailable for the first two days. The kitchen wasn’t equipped with a pot, just a few badly damaged fry pans. The living room recliner was broken and 1/2 the beds had no sheets. Drinking water was on the second floor - water cooler only.
