I liked the house itself, it looks very authentic, you feel in a open air museum, and it is great to experience the village way of life. There is a short hiking route just around the house gate.
The road is too close to the house.

Peaceful location, sourrounded by fabulous landscape.
Close to key attractions by car.
House had a very authentic and charming feel to it and was filled with fresh flowers upon our arrival.
Together with main attractions, like Flam, be sure to drive along scenic routes in vicinity. These were true gems, and all of us enjoyed it equally. Aurlandsvegen and Konsvegen are nearby. We took also the route 55 through Jotunheimen…superb!
House is close to the main road. It wasn’t a problem, but traffic can be heard at night.
Luckily, traffic is not heavy at any moment.

It was sooo adorable! And the view. wow! this is the perfect place for those wanting to sleep on a picturesque location! AND, for those visiting Flåm the LONG tunnel connecting the two locations does NOT have a fee :)
100% recommend.
The house comes with all the essentials for cooking so you won’t have to worry about spending too much for eating out. Just hit the grocery store and enjoy the Norwegian country side!!
