Accommodations were spacious and beautiful. Kitchen was well-stocked. I had one question about the TV and the owner immediately answered. Loved the back deck with furniture and grill. Loved front porch with rocking chairs. There were beach chairs and boogy boards for use at the beach. Conveniently located to stores, Folly Beach, downtown and other attractions. I would highly recommend this home and would use again!

We were extremely pleased with the accommodations. It was a great central location for everything we wanted to do. The house was well maintained and clean. It was perfect for our stay!

This house is everything!! The perfect location and the most amazing hosue!! Kit communicated so well answering the questions I had and everything was set up so nicely. Very easy access to the beach, downtown, the grocery store…anything and everything. Will definitely be back!!

This property was perfect for our annual family vacation in James Island due to its location and the overall layout and cleanliness of the home. And there were no bugs! As someone with a terrible phobia of Palmetto bugs this was important to me and is generally hard to find in the south! The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with, though she was possibly too present, showing up almost every day to mow the lawn, meet a home-improvement contractor, wash the outside trashcans, etc. Our only complaints were: dim lighting in the kitchen, difficulty with a malfunctioning washing machine, slow drains in the hall bath, and showerheads with very low flow, requiring a lot of time to wash/rinse out shampoo. The owner seems very interested in making improvements to the property, so it's likely that these items are already being addressed.

The location was great and the property was very clean. Checking in and reaching the host was easy. I would stay at this property again.

We went for a short family vacation. The house is in a good location to hit both Folly beach and downtown Charleston. I wish we would have had a longer time to stay. I would definitely go back and stay in this house again.

The house was great for our family. It was very clean and spacious for our family. The owner was very helpful. It was in a good location close to The city and the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

Our adult children met us there, and it was the perfect location for us to enjoy all the Charleston area has to offer. Beds, pillows, furniture—all extremely comfortable! Kitchen and living area large, modern, and well-stocked for hanging out together. The back deck and beautiful weather was a draw as well. The host communicated well and we had direct access to her even though we had no issues. We made great memories that week, and we would certainly stay there again!

The house is in the perfect spot! It’s 15 min from down town Charlston and Folly. Owners were very responsive. Would stay again.

We were so delighted with our stay at Kit’s home. It was very clean with comfortable beds. She provided two bikes which we used every morning in the neighborhood. It is a delightful location as the quiet neighborhood creates peace and rest but a simple drive of only 4 miles and we could have fun exploring in the city. Another simple 15 minute drive and we were on Folly beach enjoying the sun and sand. Kit’s kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The master bedroom is opposite side of house as the kids bedrooms which we appreciated. Close to a great seafood restaurant and Harry Teeters grocery store. I don’t want to say too many good things about this gem of a place because I want it to be available when I return next year! A great place and Charleston is an amazing city.

By day we visited Patriot's Point, The Charleston Tea Garden, Ft. Sumter, Ft. Moultrie, etc. In the evenings we enjoyed lounging and watching movies in the living room. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook in when we wanted to, and used Kit's beach towels and cooler. The backyard is comfortable and has plenty of area for kids to run around. The neighborhood feels safe and has nice homes with well-kept gardens. James Island is a nice location a short distance to most of what Charleston has to offer. On James Island we enjoyed eating at Ellis Creek Fish Camp (you'll drive by it just about every day) and Coastal Crust. There is a Harris Teeter grocery store a stone's throw away, and Walmart is under ten minutes from the house as well. Kit is a wonderful host and is very helpful if you have questions or encounter any difficulties. Check in and check out were easy as well. I couldn't imagine a better home at such a fair price.

This property was in a great location with short drives to anything we wanted to go see. This was not our first trip to the area so we didn’t mind being outside of downtown and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The house is still in the process of being perfected so there were a few minor hiccups but Kit went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We had a great time and were very comfortable in the house for our Thanksgiving week!
