Very good size, layout, and nice design. We had everything we need.

The basement where the washing machine is located is rather dirty and not maintained. The water in the shower is way too weak for a proper shower. Bedding could use some update.

A very nice and spacious appartment with all kinds of facilities, and full with tasteful art. It all seemed very thoughtfully furnished.

The only drawbacks lack of car parking, a small step to the right front door in side the entrance hall between dark coloured floor (when lights off - tripped over both ways on several occasions) Bath is high could do with a non-slip mat on floor as I slipped when getting out of shower). However overall good stay.

In a very nice location, quiet and cosy.

We rented 2 apartments. The house seemed like a renovated turn of the century city home and had no garden. Eveything was simple but clean. For example, the towels were line dried. One of our apartments had a good sized balcony for hanging out. Everything was clean and comfy, and the AC was very much appreciated during this terribly hot summer in Germany. There were 2 washers in the basement and 1 small wooden drying stand per apt. A bakery with fresh brötchen and other goodies was nearby. Edeka and Aldi stores were not too far away, down the steep hill, then turn left, and you will run into them. There is a pharmacy on the bottom of the hill with an English speaking pharmacist. Most of the action is across the bridge. We took a boat ride to Bernkastel Kues which was very enjoyable. There is a lot to do in terms of hiking, biking, looking at museums or simply enjoying the beautiful country side, the wine, and the food. Good value for the price. Would go there again.

There were not enough simple drinking glasses in the apartment. The refrigerator is a good size, but does not have a freezer, thus no ice cubes if this is important to you. You may be able to buy a small bag of ice cubes in the stores.
