Location and facilities are good

The apartment is tired and was not clean.

Plenty of room. Close to the beach and river for swimming.

Needs a lot of maintenance. Shower in ensuite leaked more water from the hose than came out of the head. Only some lights worked, fittings rusty, blinds broken and remote for garage didn’t work. Unit closest to the road was very noisy but friends in other units said they were quiet. A good clean wouldn’t go astray either. Looked like that hadn’t been done for a while.

Villa was poorly maintained and dirty Door to bathroom hanging from one hinge Check in delayed 4 hours due to cleaners We checked out 2 weeks early due to these issues and offered no compensation.

Such a beautiful spot to stay, the villa is perfect and luxurious. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a lock box for keys rather then a pickup from Kingscliffe which is quite chaotic. Otherwise it has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. Park your car and you can walk to the beach, to the general store or to the BP which sells fruit and veg, has hot box with food. The general store has wonderful food and well priced.

The location was amazing, so close to the river and the beach. The size of the property was great for a family of five.

The standard of the accommodation was fairly poor. First, when we arrived there was cutlery in the top of the dishwasher which was dirty. It turns out the dishwasher didn't work at all so we had to hand wash, however there was no plug for the kitchen sink and no dishwashing liquid. Also, there were only three forks which is not enough given the villa sleeps six. For the last 24 hours of our stay the gas wasn't working so we couldn't cook and there was no hot water for showers. The TV downstairs didn't have any TV channels (we did watch a DVD though) so we had to watch TV from the bedroom upstairs. Finally, the double beds didn't have mattress protectors which we found pretty off putting. We would recommend this property for the location and the size but would not stay again due to all the issues we experienced.

When picking up keys were told & given in writing No. 3 villa. Keys would not fit. Eventually tried No. 1, keys fitted. Insufficient toilet paper in 2 of 3 toilets. Could not get main TV to work even on free to air.

Great location, Hastings point is magic

Parking options are limited, garage door did t work and garage was too small for a medium sized car, ensuite shower leaked, the villa needs maintenance, doors to cupboards and rooms didn’t close properly, the blinds are in need of repair, carpets need a clean, lights in the villa are dim and need to be replaced.
