Kevin and Caroline were perfect hosts whose knowledge about the local area allowed us to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding Dolgellau

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. We were treated to hot drinks & tea cakes whilst playing family board games (provided by Aber Cottage) in the lounge with the log fire blazing on the cold December night that we arrived. Our family room was just wonderful - the beds being so comfortable. Our breakfast was fantastic - such a wide choice and was cooked to perfection! We all felt so comfortable staying at Aber House and can't thank the hosts enough for their wonderful hospitality. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable traditional Welsh cottage, good choice and delicious breakfast, friendly and attentive service with helpful tips locally. Great to have secure parking at back in such a central location. Will stay again for sure.

Highly recommended. Friendly welcome, exceptional quality throughout, perfect location for our requirements and the breakfast was spot on. The small stairs presented a challenge for my size 13 feet but that's part of the charm of the place.

Cannot rate Aber Cottage high enough - Kevin and Caroline are the most helpful and accommodating hosts, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfasts are amazing! Kevin was so helpful with hiking and climbing advice too. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely delightful stay. Beautifully appointed, comfortable rooms with every need thought of. Lovely, helpful hosts. Friendly without being intrusive. Perfectly cooked breakfast, just the right quantities and no waiting around. Can't fault it at all.
Nothing really. If being nitpicky I'd have preferred it not on the main road but 'main' is quite an extreme description in Dolgellau and it wouldn't put me off even slightly from returning.

Caroline & Kevin were FANTASTIC hosts! The B&B was lovely and the food exceptional! You literally walk out of the B&B and you are right in the town centre of Dolgellau. We would love to stay again in the future! Caroline and Kevin were very helpful with information of the area/things to do/places to go! Thank you!

Booked Aber Cottage for 4 nights for 2 Canadian friends of mine who are currently walking the Cambrian Way from Cardiff to Conway. They have nothing but the highest of praise for Aber Cottage and say that they would not choose to stay anywhere else. They loved everything, the comfort, cleanliness, location, breakfast and, especially, the hosts who were, they said, the friendliest and most helpful that they could have wished for.

Everything perfect, cleaner than many hotels I have stayed in. Perfectly located in Dolgellau, bonus is the safe parking the owners have at the back of the property. Owners were super friendly and helpful with suggestions and very kind. This is super place to stay.

Really stunning little place, loved ten old building and the fire place. Brilliant secure parking for my motorbike.
Room was slightly hot at night for own personal preference but other than that an absolutely spot on stay

Travelled to Dolgellau with a friend for a short walking break and could not have asked for a better base. Amazing hosts, very friendly and knowledgeable and the digs were spot on. Clean and comfortable and a 10/10 breakfast. Definitely return, thank you!

Caroline and Kevin were very welcoming and attentive. The guest house and amenities were immaculate. A great breakfast was also provided to order, which set us up nicely for an active day of biking.

Wonderful B&B hosted by the equally wonderful Caroline & Kevin. A perfect blend of old world charm with modern amenities. Delightful bedrooms, comfy beds a raging log fire in the lounge / dining area and centrally located within a few minutes walk of some great pubs and restaurants. What more could you want? A delicious hearty fried breakfast or a light continental one? Well that’s included too! Safe off-street parking. This is a lovely place to stay, a lovely couple ( Kevin and Caroline ) great breakfast and a very clean and comfortable room, definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a place to stay in Dolgellau.
