Location, food, hospitality was great!

The rooms on the 2nd floor have a loft which is very uncomfortable. I banged my head 4 times during a 2 day stay. For the price paid, we expected a better room.

Good location close to the lake and to bus stops (around 10-15 mins ride to central Konstanz, guests receive a free bus ticket for the duration of their stay). Room was very clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff and tasty breakfast.

5 p.m. check-in time was a little inconvenient and breakfast hours of 7:30-9:30 could be a little short for some. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. Quite a few steps to get to the rooms, so not accessible for all.

The hotel is nice, extremely clean with very nice and helpful people around. breakfast was very good with fresh ingredients of different choices.

chose it because of beer garden & restaurant. we stayed here a week before & bar, kitchen were all open, had excellent service. this time nothing was open,even though the sign on the door had opening hours. very disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy what we liked so much the first time.

We stayed here on 2 occasions, once at the start of our bike ride around the lake, and then again on completion, the first time the beer garden and the restaurant were open, great place for a meal and a drink, and the prices were very reasonable, on return everything was closed which was a bit disappointing, we managed to find some where for dinner close by so this wasn’t a big problem. apart from that nice hotel enjoy my stay.

It's right alongside a main road. You could close the windows and have a fan on, but I find that claustrophobic.

15 min by bus from central station, clean room, clean comfort bathroom, antimosquitos frames, supermarkt nearby, easy to find.

A lovely guesthouse in a quieter suburb of Konstanz - though there was a little road work being done while we were there. It's very close to the car ferry terminal and easily accessible via the convenient and regular bus routes into the city centre (busses were free with the pass the hotel gave us). Very helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms and a very good breakfast of meats, cheeses and good bread rolls. The hotel has a restaurant (OK but fairly standard food) and a small beer garden and there are a number of other places to eat nearby. We chose this as a good alternative to being in the centre of the city and we were very pleased we had done so as it was relaxed and friendly.

The location was good

For 120€ we would expect a proper breakfast. We couldn‘t order any egg dishes (they only offered to us hard boiled eggs). There was also only one type of bread available. For 120€ you get a fresh variation of breakfast selection, this was really poor. Also, the fact that you can pnly have breakfast until 09:30 on a Sunday is very unusual. There were only 5 parking spots for probably around 15 rooms which were all taken already.

The guesthouse had an excellent location for my visit needs. The staff highly friendly and supportive. I had a great sleep in a very comfortable bed, and a very rich and delicious breakfast in the morning. Altogether it was a great stay, despite only being there for one night. I can only recommend it for people visiting Konstanz :)

Nothing comes into mind

This hotel had an exceptionally good arrangement for storing guests’ bicycles. The restaurant was very good, both for dinner and breakfast. The staff was particularly friendly and accommodating, especially considering how busy the place was.

Close to the main street (speed limit of 30 km/h though)

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were big, and the breakfast was great. This isn't in central Konstanz but since we were visiting Mainau the next morning it was a great location for us. Also very close to a grocery store and a nice park with a path along the lake.

The internet disconnected every few minutes, so maybe not the best place to stay if you need to work!

Fantastic staff. Safe place to store our bicycles. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. . The highlight is the restaurant downstairs. Fantastic food and service. Frequented mostly by locals, which made the experience very authentic.

No AC and it was a bit noisy from traffic but it quieted down later in the evening. We had an excellent fan in the room which allowed us to close the window and be comfortable. The hotel is about 4-5 km from the main old city center but they provide a free bus pass.

Clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. We brought our two large dogs and the staff was very friendly and welcoming to our mutts :) Restaurant was also delicious!

Loud street right out front, so it can be too loud to sleep comfortably with the windows open (there is a fan included in the room though).

Renovated rooms, very spacious and clean. The food from the restaurant is good. People were friendly and there is a public beach a few minutes away from the hotel.

Only 3 parking spaces available for 11 rooms. We had to pay 10€ extra/night to park at the place. A bit noisy during the night due to the bell tower and road next door.
