We were going to be in town for our daughters wedding and came across this property when looking for a place to stay. The pictures intrigued me but it seemed to good to be true. I booked it to save my dates but still wanted to see it prior to holding our daughters rehearsal dinner there. We were traveling to the area to visit the wedding venue and I reached out to see if there was any way we could come see the house prior to our stay. Let me just say that Marlene was nothing less than gracious and accommodating. She met us at the house between guests the same day. The pictures do not do it justice. It is decorated beautifully and designed with little sitting areas and nooks to gather. The backyard is amazing! From the Cantina and Tiki bar to the hot tub and fire pit and chiminea area. We were hooked. Marlene even allowed us to start setting up outside at 1:00 while they were cleaning from the previous guests. The day of the rehearsal the weather didn't cooperate at first and we ended up blowing a fuse. Gigi arrived within 20 minutes to save the day. Thank you GiGi. Thankfully the weather cleared up around 9:00 PM and we were able to enjoy the backyard. The rehearsal dinner was a casual cookout complete with a s'mores bar,drinks in the cantina, agroup dip in the hot tub for the bridal party and game room competitions for the groomsmen. We ended up having the entire bridal party stay with us. We loved our stay and would gladly return to enjoy this unique gem.

This is our second time staying at the Sedona and it’s even better than I remembered! Marlene is so helpful and truly thinks of everything with all of the little touches she adds around the house. We can’t wait to come back next year!!

It was perfect. Cant say that about literally any other place weve stayed. We had a small wedding and it was beautiful. Could not have asked for anything better! The accommodations are wonderful and so is the property manager!

The house itself is even more beautiful than the photos, the yard is very beautiful as well and is so private that you would never guess you were just in a Rockford neighborhood. The host was very gracious, accommodating and communicative. I highly recommend staying here!

This was a great place to gather with our kids and grandkids. We didn't have to find any other place for entertainment because the Cantina, fire pit, hot tub and various areas were perfect for our ever-shifting groups.

This place was amazing! We booked it the day before my daughter quince,the villa theme went perfect with her beautiful dress! Everyone loved it!! 100/10

The place was great - multiple areas of the house and property have different feels - homey enough for me and my wife to relax and yet big enough to host dinner for our extended Rockford family of all ages (and ALL ages loved it and wanted to have more meals at the house and even sleep over!) Marlene was very communicative and answered all questions before we even asked them Check in and check out were very simple

Great home, great hostess who was beyond accommodating and answered every question right away. Every corner had something interesting to look at and I loved the top floor suite! So private and clean; great for a family gathering.

We enjoyed having a place to relax during a family wedding. The outdoor spaces were beautiful, and the house was well stocked. Extensive communication about the home and the area was helpful. A great weekend getaway!

My wife and I had a great time staying at the villa (celebrating her birthday and our wedding anniversary). The house itself is gorgeous and was very pleasant to stay in. There was construction on a main road just a few houses down, but that honestly wasn’t a bother. Hot tub was a nice touch, and the grounds were very peaceful. A very friendly neighbor cat came to visit a few times while we were sitting outside reading. Property is pretty close to everything in Rockford, and well within delivery distance for many restaurants. The host, Marlene, was incredibly responsive, more so than any host we’ve ever had (and super friendly!). Highly recommend considering this place for your next stay in Rockford!

The property has aromantic atmosphere throughout. It has decorations and spaces for memorable photos inside and outside. The master suite was gorgeous, spacious and tasteful. We enjoyed the spa and beds were comfortable.

The host was so kind helping out with booking and so fast to answer any questions we had. It was my best friends 21st birthday, and we definitely got to enjoy it there. The hot tub was so nice, the rooms were beautiful, and it’s located in a nice spot around the places we wanted to go. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The house was gorgeous and so clean. The outside space was beautiful. Very conveniently located to several breweries as well.

Marlene's villa was a dream. Too bad the weather wasn't cooperative as we would have loved to enjoy the beautiful gardens around the property more. Marlene was very attentive, communicative and accommodating. The hot tub was perfect. I can't wait to go back.

It really doesn't feel like Illinois when you walk on to the property. Everything is as described and then some for this listing. It was in a quiet neighborhood, where no one during my stay was disturbed. This was a very unique spot and would be great for a party or event.

This is a beautiful house with so much room upstairs. We appreciated the attention to detail and the way the home was decorated. It was such a lovely place to hang out and unwind. We brought our dog so it was wonderful to have a fenced in yard. You can tell that a lot of time, energy, and thought has gone into making this place a fun and cozy place to stay. We definitely plan to visit again sometime. :)

We were able to book this property last minute for a one night stay. I had a handful of teenage girls in tow for a tournament in the area. Everyone had a wonderful time. The house was well equipped for cooking, lounging, hot tubbing and enjoying ourselves. I would definitely stay here again! Excellent VRBO! Thanks!

I love the design and the decorations, it was relaxing and peaceful especially the hot tub was the most and outstanding for us, we have a blast and make good memories of my daughter birthday

Wonderful, relaxing weekend. So many things provided which was so convenient.

We spent the coldest days of winter (12/22-12/24) in the Villa! So nice that there was a garage for the car and someone ready to come shovel, if necessary. We enjoyed the upstairs suite as a comfy gathering spot. Marlene was just a text away and so very accommodating. My family (including my golden retriever) was grateful to find such a great place to stay on the days that we needed, thanks to Marlene. Wish that we could have used the courtyard and hot tub! Next time!

The Sedona was breathtakingly beautiful and was the perfect spot for our Murder Mystery Christmas Party! The holiday decorations married alongside the fun and eclectic home decor felt so warm and personal, you could tell how much the owners take care of the property. The owner was fabulous to work with and was very easy to reach as well. Would absolutely stay again and hopefully enjoy the Tiki Bar in the summer!

This property was fabulous. We were in awe of the Christmas decorations and the special detail in the placing of decorations. The living room in particular was so inviting. It felt like Christmas as soon as you walked through the door. The suite upstairs was stunning. This place looks even better in person. I would highly recommend staying here. Wish we had time to stay longer. Thank you!

We were blown away when we walked through the door. The holiday decor was perfect. What a beautiful home. Everywhere you look you find something interesting. Our grandsons couldn't get enough of the hot tub. Only an hour drive from Chicago suburbs. We went to the children's museum during our stay. I would definitely recommend. Everything was neat and clean. What an amazing collection of decor.

We met together for Thanksgiving. Some from Michigan and some from Wisconsin. The property was phenomenal! Every corner offered a new detail and delight. Anything we could think of to make our visit lovely, was anticipated. The dinning room fit us perfectly. The plates, napkins, silverware, serving peices, utensils, cookware.... whatever dreamt or imagined was there- and beautiful! The hot tub was a delight. The shower was dream. Mostly, it was a relaxing and fun experience.

Unbelievably clean for the amount of decor. Felt like being in another state or country. Property owner made you feel so welcome upon entering the home. Even with toiletries and spa items for the tub. Hot tub open all year was a huge reason we chose it but even without it, it was a wonderful place.

My girlfriends and I celebrated two of their 40th birthday’s here. It could not have been a more perfect environment. The weather happened to be less than desirable that weekend, but we still had a great time. We will be back!

The experience was absolutely amazing! 4 friends and I had to find a place to have the last session in a 2-year-long board game ❤️ It was available, reasonable to travel to for all of us around the country, on theme, and in our budget. This place not only delivered on all of that, but I was very impressed with the communication from the hostess, the thoughtful touches and areas all around the house, and just how stunning it was. I definitely got a major case of house envy while I was visiting this villa! I do wish the piano was tuned, but in a weekend full of so many other amazing pros, that was just a very tiny con. All 5 of us have said we’d love to make the trip there again yearly, and I already can’t wait for the next one!
