Absolutely loved everything about this place! It wasn’t advertised but the house used to be a schoolhouse back in early 1900’s which gave it such an old time feeling. The house had everything you need to be secluded and enjoy the peace and quiet. Beautiful scenery just sitting on the deck. Only disappointment was the waterfall was dried up due to no rain but that is just Mother Nature. Would highly recommend staying here especially if you want to disconnect from the outside work and enjoy quality time with the people you are with!

Everything at this property was as advertised. It is the perfect peaceful getaway retreat! I had to change my dates because of an emergency, and the host Debbie was very understanding and made it happen. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Our visit was one to remember! This cozy cabin is what every couple needs. Quit location on a steady rolling stream made for dreams! We sipped wine while soaking and listening to the sounds of nothing around but nature. We will return again to add memories to our story! Everything was just as we expected....

I booked this as a romantic get away for my husband and I, it was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin had a wonderful rustic aesthetic and is nestled next to a beautiful babbaling creek. We were able to forget the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature (especially from the Hot Tub!). We didn't want to leave.

We truly fell in total love with this cute cabin! They have a perfect spot for a little of everything. We enjoyed their hot tub under the clear sky with great views of the stars, took a stroll by the creek and found some cool rocks. We ventured into town to sightsee, (highlyyyy recommend Millers’s Cafe! - They’re closed Sundays and Mondays). There is an easy hike nearby with a waterfall, for hole boards, and a fire pit. We wish we could have stayed longer but look forward to coming back!

Absolutely adorable cabin in the middle of nowhere, but just a short 30 minute ride to the town of Floyd (also adorable) w/ great spots to eat & shop. HIGHLY recommend. The hot tub was perfect at night with the outside temps in low 20’s. Bed is super comfortable upstairs & wifi worked like a charm. We maybe saw 2-4 vehicles pass by the entire weekend. We already are from the country & have never had neighbors before in our life, but this place takes it to a whole different level. You feel like you’re in your own world w/ just those who you choose to bring along on the trip! It’s so peaceful & perfect. Thank you to the owners for sharing this cute, off the grid spot with us. We will be back!

This is a great property to hideaway for a few days. It is out there in the country so no cell service for us but we were forewarned in the info and honestly it’s just what we needed to be disconnected a bit! The back deck is so nice for eating while listening to the creek waters flowing by. Everything in the listing just as advertised.

Everything I needed was there in the cabin, with nice, thoughtful touches (a clean sponge for the kitchen, laundry pods, a little fan in the bedroom for white noise, portable lanterns, etc.). I spent so much time sitting in the swing chair, either reading or looking at the river. Would love to come back sometime.

Cabin was amazing!!
The cabin was a little hard to find but that was already a given and we got up there at dark which made it even harder but was our fault. The cabin was so clean and looked beautiful. The view was amazing as was the hot tub. It was cold at first and took us a little bit of time to figure out the heating but once we did it was amazing. The bed was super comfortable and everything seemed clean and perfect. 10/10 recommended and will return!!

Third stay at this amazing cabin!
We love this cabin and recently enjoyed our third visit. The area is perfect for hiking, biking, and kayaking, while the cabin provides perfect relaxation. Great fire pit, hot tub, great porch for rocking chairs and outdoor dining and comfortable, clean, attractive cabin interior as well. Thank you for sharing and we will see you in 2022!

Our stay in cabin along stream in mountains
We loved the cabin! My husband loved being able to fish in the stream just outside. My only little issue is there is an infestation of lady bugs inside the cabin that needs to be addressed. They were everywhere! Otherwise, the cabin was great and accommodated all of our needs and was very relaxing and enjoyable!
