You pay for the view. The property itself is run down, carpets are filthy, blinds are damaged and dated, but the people at Stubbs are great and the view and location are amazing.

We love the location of this condo! The ocean view from the balcony is amazing, and we walked on the beach every day The bed and new sofas are comfortable, and the kitchen has plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, etc. Not much as far as pantry supplies, though, so be prepared to supply your own. The unit itself is a bit dated, so the sliding door and screen to the balcony are difficult to open and close. We had an issue with the screen completely stopping to function while we were there, but Stubbs had someone out in short order to get it working. Check-in and check-out were easy, and it’s nice that the rental office is right down the street. We plan to return very soon!

The king size bed was comfortable, unit was clean and had plenty of cooking materials. Unit is close to the Del Mar Race track and many restaurants. There is no laundry in unit, but the laundry is located near in the adjacent garage and a quick walk. There is also a grill located on the deck off the bedroom. Only challenge was the shower as it has a step to get into it, but if you do not have any mobility issues, this is not too much of an issue. We enjoyed our stay and will come again.

It’s all about the location with this place. The view and beach access are prime. The unit itself is dated. Things like the sliding doors and screens are corroded, which happens easily at the beach. I found a couple outlets and the garbage disposal didn’t work. The property grounds are really nice...loved the landscape and hearing all of the birds around. All in all, I’d love to stay here again. If you’re picky about decor and modernity, it’s not for you. But all I wanted was to be at the beach, and I got that!

Once we told Stubbs, they had someone out and we were able to access, but that took a full day and the process was pretty messy. Also, we had a smart TV that worked great the first 5 days, then went to "snow" on the screen. Took my friend a good hour to figure out how to get it back on.
On the good side, the place was immaculate and our windows overlooked the ocean. It was gorgeous! The apartment was very roomy and the kitchen was well stocked. Our particular unit was a bit "well-loved" but the couches were new, the bed comfy and everything really fine. Parking is assigned and close to the unit.
Be aware that you need to be able to walk a lot of stairs to get down to the beach! (Didn't bother me at all.) A big plus - Dog Beach is 100 yards away and watching all of the dogs play is a blast if you are a dog lover!
We bought little beach chairs and left them; would have been nice if they had been there for us.
All in all, except for the technical challenges we were very happy.

We had a very good three weeks vacation at this condo. It's a beautiful beachfront location and amazing sunsets. Was a little disappointed with the kitchen. For a long stay the dish cabinets are not very convenient and kitchen pantry would be very helpful. Other than that everything was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at this condo. We’d stayed in a different unit in this complex before, but this beachfront location was amazing. We sat on the balcony morning and evening watching waves, surfers and sunsets. The weather was warm and without a/c the unit got uncomfortably hot from about 4-6pm, but once the sun set, it cooled off pretty quickly, and there were three standing fans provided to help move the air around. The decor was a little dated but mostly in good repair (the sofa has a couple tears in the fabric), and the screen doors are really hard to slide open and closed, but the kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, glasses, pots and pans, and there were lots of bath towels. We loved the beach access from here and took long walks every day, but be aware there are 120+ steps up from the beach. We were in better shape by the end of the week! Checking in and out was easy, and there were grocery stores, drugstores and good restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again. I miss the sound of the crashing waves already!
