Aotearoa est une spacieuse maison en pierre de quatre chambres à coucher et de deux étages avec un bain à remous et une salle de jeux surélevée surplombant l’hôtel Derrynane et la baie de Kenmare.
Aotearoa a un grand plan ouvert, cuisine bien équipée / salle à manger / salon avec portes françaises menant à un patio et un espace barbecue.
Il y a trois chambres au rez-de-chaussée (une chambre double, une chambre queen-size et une chambre lits jumeaux)
La salle de bain principale avec douche et WC séparés se trouve au rez-de-chaussée.
Il y a une chambre double à l'étage et une salle de bains avec baignoire et douche.
Il y a du parquet partout.
Il y a une salle de jeux avec tennis de table et une salle de jacuzzi au rez-de-chaussée.
Le Wifi est disponible, payable par PayPal au fournisseur local pour une utilisation illimitée sur une base quotidienne ou hebdomadaire.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay at Aotearoa.
The home was easy to find and was neat and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped and we never lacked for anything. Our favorite part was being nice and cozy inside while we watched the weather change out on the inlet/ocean. We loved the views!
We were pleasantly surprised to find an illuminated Christmas tree upon our arrival—it was a very nice touch.
Catherine made herself available if we had any questions or needs.
This was a great home for a winter vacation with a family.

The house was perfect and the view was amazing. Catherine was great, everything was fabulous. Really enjoyed the hot tub and sitting in front of the fireplace after a day of sightseeing.

Catherine’s house was perfect for our stay. We were holidaying with family nearby and her house allowed us to enjoy spending time with them. The only negative is having to drive everywhere as it’s on the busy road and we didn’t want to walk along it with young children. However, where ever we did drive was in easy reach and took no time, ie. Rath beach, the village, Derrynane beach etc.
Her house was as described, very comfortable and had a well appointed kitchen. We easily catered for the family and entertained as we wanted to. We had a great time. Thank you!

This property was perfect for us. We were a group of adult children plus partners and our parents. The house is big enough that we could relax in our area or come together for evening meals. We really enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and the use of the games room- some intense table tennis competitions were had! The local area is stunning. Perfect for walks and close to beaches. A really enjoyable holiday!

A place you could spend weeks! We loved the house with the fantastic views over the ocean from every window, the jacuzzi, the spacious living room and the surrounding with its beaches, hills and towns. we would definitely come again!

We had a great time, the surrounding landscape is just stunningly beautiful. The cottage is really cozy with comfortable beds and furniture and a nice fireplace, the kitchen fully equiped and the whirlpool and playroom are really nice extras.

My spouse and I rented Aotearoa for the first week of an extended "work-cation" in the UK, and it has set a VERY high bar for our remaining three properties to reach! The home is beautiful, and beautifully settled on a hill overlooking the bay. The vistas changed with every movement of the sun, moon, and clouds. At the time of our visit (September), some of the closer shops were closed, but in nearby Kenmare and Waterville, we found all that we needed.
Our host, Catherine, was absolutely wonderful, both with our pre-visit communication and with support as needed during our stay. When we mentioned that we would like to do some hiking in the area, she emailed an extensive list of local suggestions.
While the home does have WiFi, the consistency of connectivity was a bit spotty at times. This presented a bit of a problem while trying to conduct work and video calls, but was mostly manageable.
Overall, we LOVED this property and the care provided by Catherine. We'd gladly return again!

What an amazing place! The view from the outside table and chairs whilst you sit outside enjoying a morning coffee is just wonderful. With eight of us staying there was plenty of space for everyone. Hot tub and games room was great for the children. Catherine was most welcoming and a great host.

Lovely house in a beautiful location
The property was lovely, well equipped and in an amazing location. The view over the sea from the house was a sight to see every day, whatever the weather.
Catherine the host was very helpful and on hand for any advice we required.

Fab stay fab location
The location of this property was simply stunning. We found it very quiet, views are to die for and the property is spacious and very comfortable. The additional of a hottub was a real bonus. Sneem, Kenmare, Ring of Beara, Ring of Kerry and Killarney are all very accessible. If you want watersports this would also be an ideal place. Catherine, the host was warm and welcoming and explained recycling and rubbish management and how to pay the additional fuel and electricity charge at the end of your stay. A significant problem with the heating was resolved very quickly. We'd definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. Only niggle was it needed oven gloves when cooking but we made do with the tea towels.

Recently stayed at this lovely house. Lovely location, spacious, and very comfortable. Hot tub, table tennis and games helped every evening and on the one very rainy day we didn't go out.

Lovely house, great location
We stayed at the property early September 2021. The house is very spacious, spotlessly clean, has a great view out over the bay, and Catherine was a great hostess, explained everything to us, gave us some tips on where to go, etc. We swam daily in the sea - there are multiple and varied local locations, used the hot tub, played table tennis and ate in some of the local pubs. All in all we had a great time. Highly recommended....

Staying in Derrynane
Excellent property - Well equipped and resourced in magnificent location close to beaches (nearest 'town' is 10 mins+ away) - but a beautiful destination in complete comfort for a great get-away

Unforgettable
We loved our stay in Castlecove, it's a very special place.
The house was amazing it had everything you could possibly want /need, so private and peaceful, a great place to relax and rejuvenate.
We will definitely try and stay there again,

Wonderful place to isolate!
We stayed at Aotearoa for over two weeks while we self isolated after entering Ireland from France. The hot tub and views were wonderful! The kitchen was well stocked and beds comfortable. Catherine was very responsive and helped us trouble shoot the heating and hot water until we had it figured out. The view at any time of day are wonderful and we loved being able to walk to the beach and drive a short distance to the National Park!

House hard to beat for the Ring of Kerry
Perched on an outcrop with 180 degree views of the coast and ring of Kerry, Catherine's house was a fabulous place to spend Christmas break. Close to world-class beaches and walking trails, lots of space in the house for kids to run around, and a jacuzzi to warm up after a Boxing Day wild swim - it's hard to beat.

Amazing house and wonderful stay
The house is fantastic, spacious and the views are wonderful. Can see right over the ocean. We loved the sky lights in the rooms as you could see the sky at night. And the hot tub and table tennis table were great for entertainment on a stormy day! The area is so scenic with lots to do. Catherine was a lovely host and we will be back!
