We loved our stay at the chalet. It's perfectly situated in the cutest little neighborhood, while also feeling very secluded. The chalet had everything we needed for our stay. While visiting we walked a few of the trails nearby, part of the Valley Trail and the Hoot, Toot and Whistle. They were both perfect for our pups, especially during hunting season. We gave our pups an extra squeeze in honor of Scarlet. Thank you for sharing your place with us! We would love to stay again!!

For our family of 3 and an Aussie, a puppy was the best thing we were looking for to rest!

This small cabin was just right for a peaceful week away with my husband and two dogs. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable, and close proximity to Wilmington and Dover.

What an adorable little cabin. Super clean and wonderful location. It had everything you need to have a relaxing getaway. The Long Trail is steps from the property for hiking and a quick dip in the stream.

My husband and I were looking to get away from the FL heat of the summer so decided to stay in southern VT. This little chalet was perfect for us in every way. So much to do in the surrounding area and get to end the day in the woods with a campfire! We will be back!

We loved staying at the chalet! Great location with lots of nice hikes close by along with restaurants, breweries, and grocery stores. It was very accommodating for our pups and we were pleased with the cleanliness overall. Highly recommend!

The chalet looked better online than in person. It appeared neat on arrival, but after getting settled in, we had some complaints about the cleanliness. There was dog pee on the corner of the dust ruffle in the main bedroom. Also a stain on the couch that I assume was dog pee as well. It kind of limited the seating options. Overall, kind of dusty and not well cleaned. The frying pan had a broken handle and the other ones were greasy. If you didn't have Apple TV, you couldn't watch anything else. I emailed them to see if there was any way to watch our own Netflix account and they never replied. The dryer didn't work properly with certain settings. I turned it on before bed and woke up 3 hours later and it was still running. The shower is VERY small (I'm only 5'4" and I struggled to not bump into the walls).
The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was good. I didn't use the tub because when you flush the toilet, the drain int he tub gurgled. Many of my complaints could have been addressed if they just replied to me. The TV, dryer, etc. I can see where people with dogs would appreciate the space, but for us, it was a miss for the money we spent. Customer service was definitely lacking. I hate to give a bad review, but they didn't attempt to rectify anything for us.

We were looking for a low-key, restful weekend with our dog, and found it. Though the area is geared for the ski season, many of the dining choices are still available (and much less crowded!)
The property was just as described - cozy and comfortable!

This chalet is everything you’d hope for in a mountain escape! It was very clean and well stocked with everything you may need, but not cluttered. It’s less than 10 minutes to Mount Snow, the general store, several dog friendly breweries, and the supermarket. We loved our stay!

We loved the chalet style home, wood stove & location.

Wonderful chalet - quiet and secluded but close to many amenities. Super clean when we arrived and very cozy. Large windows and plenty of natural light, although winter in the woods provides fewer opportunities for direct light. The grill worked perfectly (grilled three times) and the kitchen is well-stocked. The shower is __very__ small but water pressure is excellent; the Jacuzzi is a real treat and works like a charm. The wood stove was fantastic, but we did need to buy our own firewood - WW Building Supply is about 5 minutes down the road. The chalet does have a Keurig but there was only a single K-cup stocked - you might want to BYO in case they're not stocked. All in all, a fantastic time and we definitely recommend this chalet to anyone!

Wife and I wanted a quiet get-away. The Vermont Chalet was the perfect spot. Everything went well during our stay. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked of utensils. I forgot to bring my portable Bluetooth speaker for music and was pleasantly surprised that there was a Sony speaker that I could use. I didn't plan to watch TV but it is there if I needed too. We utilized the fire pit out back at least 3 nights . Plenty of firewood too. The area is so quiet, I slept great and the best I have in years. The hammock out back is a nice touch. We checked out some of the local restaurants and shops. Lots to choose from. Our favorite was The Anchor Restaurant. Great seafood! Who would of thought in VT! There are also plenty of hiking trails around if you like that. We hiked up to Mt Haystack. Good hike but kind of buggy that day. Also checked out Molly Start Park . There is a trail that you can get to at the end of the road. It goes on for 3- 4 miles. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well. Happy that we chose this spot and would love to come back some day.

Are stay was short but exactly what we needed. Rest and relaxation in the middle of the wooded area of Vermont... And that whirlpool tub.

Nicely Tucked Go-To!
Conveniently located, cozy, and nestled in the woods. Home entertainment, kitchen resources for home cooking/dining in, and dog friendly.

my boyfriend & I are first responders so we were looking to just get away for a few days. We planned some things to do and accomplished none of them because we never wanted to leave. it was snowing most of the time and the cabin was just so cozy, fire was easy to maintain, and we enjoyed to quietness. We brought our 8 month old puppies who enjoyed jumping outback in the woods. our only mistake was coming between a Monday-Wednesday, as mostly everything in the surrounding towns are closed those days.
The only thing I suggest is bringing extra blankets as it gets pretty drafty

Stayed at this property for a ski trip. By far was the easiest check in and check out process of any VRBO trip thus far. The place was clean and well maintained by the owner. The shower was tight and small, but it did the trick. The place as located between 8 min from the Mountain and close to Dover and Wilmington for shops and dining. I would recommend.

The house is exactly as shown on the site and is SO cozy! It was perfectly clean when we arrived and we didn’t experience any issues while we were there. We had a rainy weekend so we ended up spending most of our time in the chalet and it was warm and cozy all weekend. The fireplace was easy to get going and keep going which definitely added to the cozy ambiance. The entertainment that was provided (the Apple TV, the Bluetooth speaker, and the board game selection) kept us busy and entertained the whole time. We went to the Sawmill Bar & Table one night for dinner which was only about 10 minutes from the house and it was fantastic, especially if you are looking for a good cocktail. We cooked dinner/lunch/breakfast in for our other meals and they have all the kitchen appliances and pots/pans needed to do this. Overall it was a great trip, thank you for having us, we’ll be back if you’ll have us!!
