Don Julio's Beach Resort is the perfect place to relax and refresh after an exhausting day at El Yunque Rainforest. Beautiful Azul Beach is just a couple blocks away and the restaurant area of Luquillo is within walking distance (about 20 minutes). I wish we would have had more time to take advantage of the amenities, including the bouquet of roses left for us. Nice touch! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Puerto Rico!

Julio was accommodating and communicated promptly and warmly. While the whole area was quiet and safe, it is in a gated complex and you have a security chain behind your parking spot.

Love the studio. Great location, close to beach. Did not spend much time on studio, but, it was a nice place to come home after a long day of traveling around the island. Landlord was very helpful. Kept me informed thru e mail. Looking forward to our next stay on his place.

I loved our stay there! It was so refreshing to get away from Wisconsin and be free. We enjoyed the beauty of the home and the location to the beach and restaurants. Being on the beach of where I met with Pete was so fun! I can't wait to come back! $89.99 crab legs are fine!!!

What came to mind about this studio is that it was ‘home away from home’
The bed was comfortable, the foldout couch was roomy. The kitchen had everything needed to fix a full meal. Even folding chairs and an umbrella was provided to use at the beach, a block away.
I felt safe at all times. And I loved stepping outside and hearing the Coqui.
Communication with Julio was great.
Highly recommended.

A complete studio with everything you need. 200 meters from the beach, 500 meters from grocery and restaurant near Fajardo for bioluminescence, not far from San Juan, a perfect spot !

Solid small unit for my solo trip. Great location to walk to the beach and short walks to restaurants. Manager lives in Luquillo, is very responsive and accommodating.

Very clean, comfy bed, safe neighborhood. Beach is right there & an amazing Bakery that serves awesome food all day (5:30am to 11pm) is right around the block!! Other great restaurants within walking distance!

This was a great spot to stay. It was yards from a beach, however the water was too rough to swim in . Red flags were up every day. Luquillo balneario was a short drive away, and very beautiful water, however the beach is closed on Monday and Tuesday. The accommodations were great with everything you need. Jay , the property manager was very helpful.

We really liked the balcony, and the area nearby had plenty to walk to for food. Also very close to the beach. Had a great time would stay again.

We had some problems with the hot water but over all we had a great visit to Luquillo. Jay was very helpful despite his being off island due to medical issues. We’d do it again next year.

The person I was in contact with was very helpful and very polite.
If I had to change anything would be to let the renter know where to find the settings for the hot water.
Other than that it was a great experience.

Jay was awesome, very informative. He gave us dining resources and much more. The place is nice and quiet which is perfect because half the time your not even there anyway. Just make sure to stay 25 feet away from fire hydrants especially overnight....

wake up early and enjoy the sunrise, or if you don't like the sand enjoy some time on the balcony and bake in the sun. I definitely had a great time with all the amenities provided, cooked a lot of food. Great place for small groups or solo travel.

This place was perfect for what we wanted to do! So close to the beach, full kitchen and very clean! Great place to stay for a couple on vacation definitely will go back.

We loved the area and the apartment was perfect for us (myself and my boyfriend). There is miles of beautiful beach to walk and stores close by for needed items. El Youque rain forest needed prior reservations which was disappointing but met locals who took us to “The Hippie”, an adventure itself. We loved Jays advice on where to eat. Thanks for a great time!

Area seemed unsafe due to many locks on unit.
The unit was run down. Paint peeling, towel rack falling off wall, closet doors difficult to open, stains on counter, sheets not fitted properly.
Plus side was a comfortable bed, new TV & short walk to beach. We wouldn’t return.

Beaches Beaches Beaches
The studio was very basic nothing fancy but had everything you could ask for or need. Short walk to a grate beach 5 min walk and short drive to others. Studio was clean and comfy sleeping areas (bed and sofa bed) balcony and grill grate for anyone want to save a bit on meals and cook at studio. Close to lot of activities natural rain forest preserve. Jay was a grate host had plenty of suggestions for our stay and super helpful. Definitely recommend and would stay again in future visit!

Excellent location to go to nice beach, 1/2 of a block walk! You pay for what you get, everything else was just OK. Studio was well equipped, nice linens and towels. Jay was great guy with local information & sights. Don't see how this is a 5 of 5 rating, maybe 3.5...
