AC didnt work properly, bathroom was not clean, mattress was hard, no cupboard

The man was lovely but typically didn't believe me about my bus time and seemed to think he knew better - but I've found this to quite common attitude for a female solo travellers he was very helpful overall

Vincent is a friendly and happy person. i had an clean big room in a good location. beach is not far away. all was fine and green and i would stay again.

Vincent was hugely welcoming to his home and very eager to help in any way possible including having soft towels and water ready when we arrived. The room was very clean and comfortable with AC and a fan. Excellent quality for the cheap price of the room.
We also did a fantastic boat tour with a local man called Alex. He brings you to his local village (stopping in his house to see his goats) on his canoe and shows you the small canals of the backwaters. To arrange a tour contact him on +91 9847082998.
The location is slightly out of the way. 15 mins walk from the beach and a couple of kms to the town (but Tuks Tuks are cheap and very easy to get from outside). Wi-Fi a little patchy in the room but then again for the money you are paying these are in no way deal breakers. We would happily stay again.

He organised a couvernement backwather tour for us, that was really much fun!
I really recommend this place in Allepey for stay.

The property is really good and clean..most of the things are close to the property the beach, railway station, bus stand, light house..
Sadly we could only stay there for a night..will definitely visit again

EVERYTHING!! Vincent is one of the kindest, most genuine and generous man I have ever met. He made us feel completely at home and part of his family. The room was lovely, incredibly clean and such good value for money. We will definitely be coming back!
