Overall a great little getaway spot. It's a short walk from a few places of interest, but very quiet at night. It was perfect for me and my husband.

This location was in the center of everything! We went to Hatteras one day and Corolla a different day. We spent 3 days at the beach! Clean, comfortable, and convenient location. Must eat at Henry’s on the corner and must do Tale of the whale for dinner. We also good the Wild Horse Tour! The owners of the studio were very friendly and it had everything we needed!

We used the property as a home base for our main attraction - the beach - and it was perfect for this. The property was super lovely and cute, and served as a great air conditioned reprieved from the August heat. The neighbors cat Pablo paid us a visit and he was a wonderful co-host. The host herself made things super easy. She was super responsive to online messaging while not inserting herself into our vacation. Whether on purpose, or perhaps we were ships in the night, my partner and I appreciated the hands off-ness. The check in and out experience couldn't have been easier - there was practically none except making sure to throw out all of the garbage we produced. Would definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise.

Great location to stay at. Restaurant right at the end of the street. Easy access to the beach to park on the side of the road. Would stay here again. Also hot tub was a must to ease the sore muscles from the beach. Hot tub was clean and maintained

The apartment is on the bottom floor of a lovely little house in a small waterfront subdivision. A quick 2 block away gets you to a small punlic access beach on
the "sound" side for a nice sunset. With a restaurant and a dunkin donuts at the entrance breakfast and dinner were 2minutes away. The hoat and hostess were very friendly and after a few minutes of talking even gave us two restaurant suggestions that were spot on for our test. Both my husband and I would stay there again :D

In the 40+ years that I have been coming to the outer banks, this was by far the best stay ever. It was not only the wonderful perfectly put together space that we were privey to but the incredible people that made us feel so beyond welcomed in their home.

We had such a nice stay! This place is very clean, comfortable, the hot tub was lovely, and the patio was very nice. Sandra very kind and helpful along with her husband. Highly recommend. Have a great summer!

We really enjoyed staying here for the couple days we were in town. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, the hot tub was lovely, the host was very kind and helpful, and we got to see some very cool flowers. Would definitely book again!

We had a great time staying! There is a lovely bike path close by and we drove to the beach access. It was nice to have an outside shower to rinse off in after the hot beach day! It is the middle of many fun places. Very clean spot and nice to have towells, sheets, and coffee as an option. My mom enjoyed the landscape and flowers as she was sitting outdoors!

This was the perfect weekend getaway for our anniversary. An easy walk to the beach, coffee and a short drive to so many interesting places, the Wright Brothers memorial, Roanoke Island and more. Highly recommend for shorter visits with 2 adults.

It was quiet, relaxing and very clean. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We met the owner, Milo, as we were leaving. He was a super nice guy, very friendly. We would recommend this vacation rental to anyone. We will be back.

Nothing short of perfect
Sandra and Milo have the most amazing apartment in the Outer Banks. It is in a wonderful neighborhood, close to the beach, restaurants, and plenty of other activities. You can walk, bike, or drive anywhere from their place. It’s the perfect place to call home during your trip- it’s private, quiet, and makes you feel right at home. Sandra and Milo were amazing hosts- provided great recommendations and had chairs, towels, and bikes available for us to use. We will definitely be back to stay with them and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The neighborhood had a bike bath you could ride bikes down which was awesome, and location was awesome, restaurant and the main road are right down the street! There are people living upstairs (the owner) but we didn’t hear them at all and they didn’t come downstairs at all. It is kind of small but it’s perfect for a place to sleep when you’re vacation for a short amount of time and are out most of the day like we were, and it was perfect for just me and my husband!!
All in all we had a great time and the place was a great location, clean and the owners were nice! We had a great time and are looking forward to coming back to the OBX!

Sandra and Milo were wonderful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The accommodations were perfect for us. We enjoyed meeting you and hope to be able to stay again next year for my conference. I was promptly reminded about a pen I left behind and Sandra was kind enough to mail to me. Thanks again!

Super friendly and easy access is within 10 minutes of anything you’d want to do in Kill Devil Hill. My boyfriend and I will for sure be returning next time we need another fishing get away!
