This was a terrific property for a person to come and relax—a great view of the lake. The decor is modern and has lots of amenities. The only drawback is you hear the owner above you whenever they are home. Otherwise, the property is perfect.

The property is beautiful, serene and picturesque. Inside is very tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. It has all of the comforts of home and more. Gorgeous bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom stocked with comfortable bedding and towels. There are wonderful restaurants within a short walking distance and lots of outdoor activities close by.
A must revisit property and a definite referral for friends!
It kills me to give its such a great review because I want it to be available when we want to return.

My wife and I have been through a complex and demanding time and needed time away to recoup, rediscover each other, and just relax. We found it here, and it surpassed our expectations. The setting is serenity itself -- a lovely home on a small lake. And no boats to break the silence. The working fireplace is a delightful bonus and the linens luxuriant. They are adding a second bedroom, so we will return with others.

I really enjoyed this property. Very clean and up to date. There is no stove and I didn't find out until I got inside that there was "No Fishing or Boating" on the lake. That would have been nice to know before actually booking. Otherwise, Everything was great!

We found the location of this property perfect! So many lovely places within walking distance or short car ride. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful small neighborhood was very relaxing. The outdoor area over looking the pond was gorgeous and so comfortable. We will be returning to Flat Rock and highly recommend this property for a laidback holiday for two.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Enjoyed sitting on the screened and open patios with beautiful view of the neighborhood lake - private and peaceful. Walking distance to Carl Sandburg house and trails.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We made breakfast and dinners in the kitchen and watched movies at night and sat out on the porch overlooking the pond for long talks and star gazing. It was the perfect base for daily excursions to the Gorge for zip lining, Cedar Creek Stables for horseback riding, hiking behind the Carl Sandburg house, sight seeing around Lake Lure and wine tasting in Hendersonville. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We made breakfast and dinners in the kitchen and watched movies at night and sat out on the porch overlooking the pond for long talks and star gazing. It was the perfect base for daily excursions to the Gorge for zip lining, Cedar Creek Stables for horseback riding, hiking behind the Carl Sandburg house, sight seeing around Lake Lure and wine tasting in Hendersonville. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location - Convenient & Peaceful
It is hard to find a place that feels both convenient to commercial areas but is also isolated enough to provide a relaxing environment. This places covers both. When you leave in the morning and see/ hear the woods and lake, it is hard to believe that you can walk to a coffee bar or BBQ lunch in < 5 min. A great mix.

The peace and quiet was so amazing to just get away from the day to day. The decor was beautiful. The bed was super comfy. It was very close to good restaurants and downtown area.

Short easy drive to Hendersonville, Asheville, Brevard, Dupont State Forest and Pisgah!!!
Highly recommend and would stay again!!!

Beautiful place!
Beautiful and clean apartment with all the amenities you need. The Host was great and helped us with anything we asked. Loved the view from the porch and the gas fireplace for chili evenings. Very peaceful and Serene. My husband and I will definitely come back.

I have nothing negative to say. The apartment is beautiful, clean and tucked away in peaceful surroundings of beautiful flowers, trees, and a pond with all that nature brings. I also loved the scened porch with rocking chairs, and the luxury of the propane fire pit that kept the mosquitos away while I enjoyed sitting outside just taking in nature. The location is close to whatever you need, plenty of good food options and grocery stories. Be sure to visit downtown Hendersonville. The shops are great for shopping and the Bakery will be a hit with everyone. The donuts are amazing! The host was awesome. She never bothered us but was only a text message away. I will be back, hopefully soon.

At 1am we were regretting our life choices to drive 8 hours to get there, but that all was forgotten the next morning when we woke up looking out at the beautiful scenery. The accommodations are perfect, the town was perfect, and we definitely cant wait to come back!
