This location is very quiet and secluded (take its name literally) but even though it's pretty far off the main road, the host provided excellent directions and has posted very helpful signs directing you to the property.
The house is very large and fully equipped for any length of stay by a couple or a family. We used the kitchen to cook several meals and the washer and dryer to do our laundry. Then relaxed watching streaming shows on the large flat screen TV.
We did some hiking around Aasleagh Falls and the Killary Ford and visited Cong Abbey and the Monk's Fishing House in Cong. Both are a bit of drive from Westport but we were headed north afterward and this was the best location for these attractions and our future travels. If you're in Cong, don't forget to see the statue of John Wayne and Maureen O'hara as the film The Quiet Man was filmed in Cong.

Hilltop hideaway is beautiful. We had a lovely time there. House lovely and location brilliant. Everything you need in there. Beds so comfy too. We didn't want to leave. The owner kept in touch and if we needed anything was lovely too. We will defo be back. Cheers

Above all, we loved where the property was positioned. Tucked away in a beautiful green space 10 mins drive from Westport and 10 mins the other way from beautiful beach and foot of Craugh Patrick. lovely walks and scenery all around. Very spacious property. 3 very decent sized bedrooms. All very clean and homely.

The property was very clean.
The sofa bed was unusable...totally worn out and no bed linen.
We had no individual hair/hand towels.
There was no guide as to how the TV works.
Some kitchen equipment needs replacing.
It would have been appreciated if there were some firelogs provided - they only cost €2.20 ....not much of z dent in the €360 fee.

Very nice place to stay. Quiet but just a few kilometres outside Westport. Modern and fully equipped kitchen. Recommended for families - Our stay there was with kids.

Lovely, comfortable spacious house with plenty of facilities and comfy beds.
Would have been handy with an extra shower in bathroom (rather than just a bath) as we were too families

the location of the property was a little too far out from Westport town and the road leading to the property was very narrow and had lots of potholes which could easily damage your car.

The bed are comfortable and warm , very quite and relaxing no neigbour , we had a good slept full energy before we climb at Croagh Patrick Mountain next day morning

It was self catering and the kitchen was well fitted out with utensils etc. The house was warm despite the cool conditions outside. Nicely furnished with lovely art on the walls.
The shower in the ensuite was a bit small. The potholes on the access track could have been filled for visitors. The area around the house was a bit unfinished looking but plenty of space. No terrestrial channels on TV .

Beautiful house there was kids games there and also dvd player and dvds to play for kids. Very clean and fresh house in an absolutely beautiful location.

Lovely house , ideal for family get away . Travel cot was provided on request and had been set up and made up on arrival 😃Ideal for exploring the fabulous greenway and croagh Patrick . House was spacious and very safe and secure for kids. Back of the house completely enclosed with small gate access. Will definitely look to book again in the future. All inquiries were answered promptly by the host. Very happy with our stay!

Secluded in very quiet area. Plenty of space and everything provided. 10 mins drive from Westport for shopping and dining. Host was available to answer any questions. Would be great place in summer when adventure park, pony trekking etc are open. Beautiful scenery for anybody that likes walking. Will definitely return to this property.

The house was perfect, so clean and comfortable. Would love to have stayed even longer, but will definitely come back again. Roz was very helpful and prompt with any replies. Check in via lock box was very smooth. Great value for money and the house is fabulous.

Very clean, only 6 min from Westport, loads of space for 2 families. 4 adults and 4 kids. Everything you would need in a holiday house. Great to have a washer and dryer too.
