The hot tub was amazing, the farmhouse had everything you need for your stay.
The host were very friendly and helpful.
Within a 15-20 minute walk was The Victoria Hotel is a gem the homemade food was lovely.

No breakfast, location was miles from anywhere
No heating upstairs in the cottage, and we we were constantly watched by the warden, it was more like a prison camp than a holiday

Lovely location. Log fire and the hot tub were a bonus. The staff were very friendly and informative. Very quiet location.
Pots and pans were very used and dated. We had to buy a new frying pan as the one in the cupboard wasn't useable.

Really friendly hosts, really clean and toasty warm. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day on the fells. Highly recommend.

nice open space down stairs. good kitchen facilities. large bathroom and bedrooms. my family enjoyed the hot tub.
the windows in the lounge and kitchen window didn’t open. would be a nightmare in the summer. the window in the lounge formed part of next doors outside area. they hung their coat outside the window which was off putting. the dogs barking very early in the morning and evening. the extractor fan in bathroom was very loud and the one in the upstairs toilet didn’t work. the door to the bathroom needs some shaving off the bottom it’s noisy to shut. the sofa was lumpy. the pillows were very hard and uncomfortable.

Hot tub was lovely (some solar lights around the hot tub area could be a nice addition we thought) and the wood burner is a great addition. The logs were topped up on request. The wardens were very helpful and friendly. Great location for the beach, ennerdale and wast water, RavenGlass and for Scarfell pike walks too. Lovely cottage and location.

The cottage was lovely, clean, warm. All the facilities where there with what we needed. The kids loved every second of our little family holiday especially helping with feeding the cows. They loved it. We will defo be booking again.

Julie the owner was so welcoming and even gave my little girl who loves animals a little tour round the farm and let her sit in one of the tractors. We loved how friendly and welcoming Julie and the team were!
Nothing that we didn’t like it fitted our requirements perfectly!

The welcoming, the house was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was so amazing.
If I have something to find...but not surprising when you are in a farm. The smell of the cow's bedding.
