Place is decent staff are great, only issue is they didn’t have my booking details + didn’t feel it was secure enoth to keep my belongings safe

There are people who claim to be tour guides but are con-men and felt that when I was going to room they allowed them in without asking if I comfortable with that for that I didn’t feel my belongings would be safe if I stayed and when to another hotel with tighter security.

Staff are great , happy and helpful , location is close to what your there to see . Simple nice place for a good price.

Everything is fine at the Red Rock Hotel The location is perfect. You get the best view of the town. Best for Sunset and Sun Rise

Great mountain view, excellent location.

No water for pretty much the entire time of our stay

- Pick-up from the airport was convenient. - The rooms and bedding were very clean. - There is a small sunny garden at the back of the hotel. - The churches of Lalibela are at walking distance from the hotel. - The owner was very communicative and even helped us with recovering our delayed luggage from Addis Ababa Airport.

Running water was only available at certain intervals (but this was probably due to the road works). Fortunately, the owner could always put on the water supply when requested.
