Being so close to nature and so far from people. Seeing the stars and the mountains from the comfort of bed. Having access to all of the trails literally right out the backyard and not dealing with lines or transportation. It truly is an escape, yet we were only minutes from downtown.

This property is amazing and there was nothing worth mentioning as a dislike. The likes far out number any small, petty gripes. We loved this place!

You will not find a better location in Sedona. You can see all of the big locations from the balcony. Plus, you can walk out the back gate and get directly onto some great trails. The property is excellent, very clean, and beautiful. The owners are great and will give all sorts of tips, and you might get to meet Hugo if you're lucky! It is close to drive to anywhere, but around the side of the Twin Buttes so there are nice dark skies which you can enjoy from the unique glass enclosed bedroom. Our first night we saw an enormous shooting star with a comet tail, then more normal ones. If you are looking for the vortices, it is right between all the main ones and near the chapel. There is a great meditation area if you want some seclusion to gather yourself. The balcony and view were my favorite. You can see the main peaks from one spot and enjoy being where you are. At night it is entertaining watching the crazy people climb or descend the peaks in the dark. In the mornings, you can see all the hot air balloon launches. Even when it has rained you can enjoy it with awesome sunset double rainbows on the peaks.

It requires me to put some negatives here so I will.. None of these werw enough to affect my rating. Still 5 stars all the way. It is an open studio. So the shower and bathroom are fairly open. So you can see in the shower and hear everything. Also, with all the windows, on the off chance someone is hiking behind, or in the backyard then they will be able to see you, especially at night. The only improvement I would suggest is a blind on the bathroom window so you can use the toilet with the light on at night.
