Good location and nice cottage. Plenty of clean bed linen and towels available. Having a free spot for the entirety of our stay in the closest car park was handy.

property felt damp as soon as we walked in - especially the lounge and sofas. the property could’ve done with a deep clean prior to our arrival, as we found balls of hair around the cottage and had to give the coffee plunger a deep clean as there was old coffee granules still in it. Clearer instructions and communication on the car park situation would’ve been helpful. Didn’t have a pleasant experience with the property owner after our departure. We were accused of blocking a toilet with a coat hanger and sanitary items and sent an invoice for the plumbing works. Both of the toilets at the property were checked prior to our departure and both flushed and drained as normal, however the property owner accused us of the blockages and at some point during back and forth communication with the property manager, was told to “just admit that we did it” - not a pleasant experience at all. We found it to be an extremely disrespectful experience on what was otherwise a nice trip to Cornwall.

Fantastic location just a few minutes walk to the harbour and local pubs and restaurants. Kitchen was reasonable size and had everything you could need. Good sized rooms.

No onsite parking, though you can park for free in a nearby public car park. Cottage is dark and dreary, smells damp, particularly downstairs. The carpet downstairs is badly stained, really needs replacing, not sure if it is that that causes the damp smell. Kitchen cupboard had food from previous occupants, old bits of popcorn and bits of paper, clearly hadn't been cleaned inside.

Great location in the heart of the Village. A spacious and simple house. Very nice to have 2 full bathrooms. Lovely view from the third floor front room! Decent bathrooms and nice fluffy towels. The host sent someone to fix a broken doorknob promptly after I called her. Lots of architectural character in this old house! Wifi was good. The clothes washer was great to have- dried the clothes on the provided racks and the space heater/fan blowing on them.

Arriving late and trying to find the free slot in the car park was a real frustration! The car park actually not far away, but a one way street makes it harder to find. Left a note on our dashboard and checked in with the attendant next day. For a £5 returnable deposit you can get a key to the carpark's back pedestrian gate and it's not a far walk from house.

The beds were comfortable, the showers clean and hot, heating was good and it’s so close to everything.

It could do with locks on cupboard under sink to keep it safe for children, and possibly a better light over the dining table. The carpet under the table was also not ideal if you have little children as it was hard to clean up if food is dropped on the floor. A dishwasher is a luxury, I know, but it would make it more of a holiday.
