Owner told the hotel was fully occupied even we have already booked from booking.com and asked us to find another hotel.

Owner was friendly and really enjoyed the discussion. Breakfast was okay with limited choices.
The blanket was dirty. I requested housekeeper to change it, but she was claiming it was changed on same day. When I called her and showed dirty spots- she was speechless.
The location is off side and you really need to walk at least 20-30 minutes to reach town center.

The room was big and clean!There is a good view from the room.
The hotel was much far from the center.Restaurant was closed.Had to travel far for having food.Stuff's behaviour wasn't pleasant.
To be honest this is an homestay, not a hotel. Booking.com should mark this as a homestay not hotel.

Nice big room with comfy bed and electric blanket. In a quiet location but only a 10-15 min easy walk to Mall Rd. Friendly and helpful staff, and good value for Darjeeling.

Location was very peaceful. Staff was very helpful. The family that owns the place was very friendly.
PS: special mention for the bed warmers!!! Saved life in that cold weather.

The dinner was horrible. I ordered the typical veg indian khana set and to my disappointment it came with rice, daal and not so great one veg curry. Never had such horrible dinner khana set ever.
The room was decent. No complaints there except the bed sheet and blankets could be cleaned regularly.
Dinner and food overall was bad. The room and bed sheets and blanket covers were not clean.

. Very hygienic ,neat and clean. Food was of excellent quality. Behaviour of the staff was commendable. Everyone in the hotel was soft spoken.
I love the staff and their behavior was friendly. Room service was excellent.
