The host was responsive to any questions we had. Overall, a nice place to stay in Oakland.

The layout of the apartment is like having two side by side areas, both with living rooms and bedrooms. They both feed back to the kitchen and bathroom. While quite comfortable, the heat was only on one side with made half the apartment too hot and the other too cold. Lots of room though. Nice big kitchen. Bathroom amenities were of low quality. Plenty of towels. Nice huge washing machine and dryer.

Very conveniently located for trips to and from SFO, San Jose and Davis. The place is not its heyday but was very adequate for our stay. It would be helpful to know the lockbox with the key is on the side of the house - not the one on the stairway railing.

Very clean and spacious, has everything you need. Everything was perfect and so welcoming! Although I never formally met Maen, he is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment is in the basement no air circulation the bed and linen are below standard.

Overall good experience-neighborhood was nice and quiet. A couple small issues with the kitchen sink and ants but otherwise very nice. Layout of the place is different but ok once you get used to it!
