I will admit that my wife was a little nervous about staying where someone else lives. But we were both very, very happy we made the decision to stay here! It was an amazing place and so much better than a typical hotel or even a typical VRBO. It was a beautiful property to explore and was like living in a tree house. Bed was super, bathroom and kitchen were perfect. I can't recommend this enough if you are in Alpine or the San Diego area. We can't wait to be back! Thank you to the owners for a super stay.

Let me begin by saying we had a great time and the room/landscape was beautiful. It was our first time in Alpine so we didn't know what to expect. Based on the pictures, I thought we were going to be in the middle of the woods. I was surprised then when we drove up into what looked like a nice upscale residential neighborhood. I almost didn't think we had the right place. We made contact easily with the owner and were shown around. The owner is onsight, but the room itself is detached from the main house and is like an apartment up above the garage. All the pictures are accurate. It overlooks a beautiful, secluded backyard that becomes your own little oasis. Despite having the owner onsight, it felt extremely private and beyond when first arrived, we didn't see them the rest of the time. We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up staying an extra night. I would highly recommend it and I can't wait to make our way back there again.

A wonderful experience easy in and easy out relaxing available great amenities and decor. Alpine has wonderful weather we enjoyed outside by the barbecue and a late evening Jacuzzi…

The pictures do not do this place justice, it is beautiful, and maybe my favorite surprise was a little brunch balcony behind the house. It feels like you are eating and waking up among the trees.
