The apartment was in a perfect location, within walking distance of all attractions and metro stations. The apartment slept 4 adults comfortably and the kitchen was fairly well equipped for a 6 night stay. The host, Ana, was easy to contact on the Vrbo app and the information provided was very accurate. I would definitely recommend the apartment to others who want to visit the vibrant city of Madrid.

au 2ème étage d un immeuble ancien mais très mal insonorisé avec des fenêtres donnant sur une rue passante et bruyante

Central Location but on major street
This apartment is minutes away from Plaza Mayor in La Latina neighborhood of Madrid. The apartment is very clean however it is on a major street. I could hear all the traffic and conversations below. The late night/early morning party goers were especially noisy.
The check-in in process was all online. I was given instructions to call once I was at the door but it took a few calls before I was able to get in.
Communication with the property manager/owner was challenging. I asked if I could have an early check in and the response was an extra charge. The assumption was since I wanted an early check-in, then it's considered an early stay. It was a simple yes or no question; I just needed to figure out what to do with my luggage. Language and cultural differences was a factor. The best I could say is that this lacks proper customer service.
