Clean property with everything we needed. Beautiful location.

We have been staying at various properties on Owasco Lake for at least 15 years. This location raises the bar and sets a clear standard for relaxing vacations. The owners were very easy to communicate with and replied promptly to any questions we had. Our dog was very comfortable with the owner's dogs and really enjoyed wandering the property. We will certainly be looking at this property for vacations in the years to come.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The place was immaculate, and Mike was the best host. 10/10

This was a lovely location on the lake! We especially loved the large deck and beautiful view! The owners were very friendly and flexible which we greatly appreciate! We will definitely be back!

This was by far our best rental yet . The place is SPECULAR! The view off the back deck is breathtaking . The place is beyond clean with all the amenities anyone would need . We had such a amazing time and the hosts are lovely . The kitchen was great . We made dinner a couple of night and enjoyed wine on the back deck . The place is spacious , perfect for two couple or a family , best part is you can even bring the dog . We will definitely be booking again in the spring .

My husband and a couple of our friends stayed here for a little fishing trip weekend and we had a great time. The house was great, everything was very clean and the owners were very accommodating. Wonderful view from the deck and the dock is very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!!

Mike & Karen are the absolute best! I cannot emphasize enough how much we loved our stay at Owasco Lake. The house and deck were beautiful and so clean. We truly appreciated how Mike & Karen went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. They were so responsive and friendly. We will definitely be booking this house again in the future!

Great house in a great location. Very clean and felt like home. The sunset views over the lake were outstanding. Mike was very accommodating and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed.

Our week at this house was terrific! The cottage was very spacious and super clean. We ate in a lot and everything I needed to cook with was available in the kitchen. Our favorite place was on the huge deck, which was enclosed and gated so our dog was able to hang out unleashed. Views from there were amazing, especially the sunsets. We had fun using the kayaks too. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed driving around and checking out the local scenery. The owner checked in to make sure all was well, which was greatly appreciated.

My family and I had a lovely week at Mike’s house on Owasco Lake. The house is an incredible lakefront property with an expansive deck front and the most amazing sunsets. Mike was easy to communicate with and very readily accessible. He made us feel very much at home! The house is very closer to downtown Skaneateles for shopping and restaurants and also very convenient for grocery shopping at Wegmans. I was impressed by the size of the living space - the kitchen/living room area is a very open space with lots of room. I highly recommend this property and hope we can visit again in the near future!

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage. It is spacious and clean. The deck on the lake is large and the sunsets wonderful. We fished off the pier and although only caught small fish but it was still fun. The one problem I had was that even though the kitchen was well stocked…. Got me there was not enough sharp knives. So if you are going to cook… bring some!

This was the perfect spot for our family (two adults + a 4-year-old and 6-year-old) to experience summer in the Finger Lakes. The house had plenty of space and we spent most of our time out on the large deck overlooking the lake. The location of the property is perfect because the lake itself is quiet but just a short drive from Emerson Park (kids loved the playground), downtown Auburn, and Skaneateles. The Owasco Farmer’s Market was a highlight and we brought home local produce (the best corn we’ve ever had) to make dinner in the well-appointed kitchen. When the weather was nice we swam, fished, and used the paddleboards. When the weather wasn’t nice we were thankful to be in a “cottage” with nice furnishings, high-speed internet, and cable TV :) As a host, Mike was great - he checked in with us to make sure we were happy and gave us spot-on local recommendations. He and his family live next door but it never felt intrusive. Also, we are not “dog people” (I know, I know…) but did not find his dogs nor the dog-friendly nature of the cottage to be an issue at all. Overall, awesome. Total gem. Plan to return. My husband and I had a wonderful getaway in Auburn, NY, where we were able to totally relax. The house comes with a well-equipped kitchen, tasteful decorating, kayaks and paddleboards, but the best part is the huge deck overlooking the lake. The sunsets were gorgeous. Mike and Karen, the owners are the BEST!

Mike has a beautiful home with extraordinary views! The house is clean and very welcoming. We went in early Spring but look forward to returning once the weather is warmer to enjoy the lake and water activities. We highly recommend this place!

Great place. Amazing hosts. What a view. Had a comfortable stay in this well equipped & clean home. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts! We would love to return in the summer with our kids!!

My family and I had a great experience at this VRBO. The hosts live next door and were really nice and attentive to our needs. Perfect fall weather, beautiful view of the lake, made a nice fire in the pit at night. Great location ten minutes from the town of Auburn where there is a tasty brewery. Easy access to running, hiking, apple picking. And we were able to bring our dog! We would definitely rent from these hosts again.
