Long Barn:- Lovely, clean property and very well equipped kitchen. Lovely touch with eggs and cookies provided and Nespresso pods. Comfy beds, quality linen, towels and toiletries.
Estate Manager very helpful, even let in Tesco delivery man when our horrendous journey made us late arriving.
Early/10.00am check out bit too early, especially when it’s a late/4.00pm check in.
Long Barn:- Downstairs loo in huge entrance hall would be useful, especially when staying with children.
An additional shower would be useful considering number of beds.
Had to ask another cottage user at 01.15am to be quiet as loud music and shouting (quiet time at 10.00pm!).
The Nook:- Nespresso coffee machine would be nice to have in that cottage too.

Exceptionally clean throughout, good quality furniture and probably the most comfortable beds we’ve slept on outside of our own home! The open plan kitchen/diner was wonderful for our family Christmas celebration. Look out the window to see the wildlife roaming (free range chickens, sheep and pheasants, foxes & deers pottering about daily) The complimentary free range eggs and jam was a lovely welcoming gift too. Lastly, the peacefulness and beauty of the setting was idyllic and tranquil…I can’t recommend the Long Barn highly enough.
A couple of light bulbs need replacing and finding the property at night was a bit tricky on our arrival (Crucis is set far back from the main road - which is great as no road noise at all!) But these are minor issues which are insignificant compared to the joy of this property.

The property was spacious and light, plenty of parking and in nice surroundings.
There was no hot water for the entirety of our stay, so no-one could bath or shower, unless they put up with the water being cold. The telephone number provided was called and the owner came to the property but was able to sort the problem. It seemed the biomass boiler had run out of fuel. (A delivery of the wood pellets arrived as we were leaving on the Monday morning!)
There was also a very loud party going on at the property next door on the a Saturday night which kept our group awake until 4am.

A little outdated especially upstairs. Overall TLC needed but was comfortable for 3 nights

Lovely Cotswold stone cottage in a beautiful, quiet location, close to Cirencester and it's restaurants, pubs and shopping facilities. Everything you could possibly need was available in the accomodation and with lots of free parking. Great place to unwind.
Nothing to dislike.

The estate itself was nice and a lovely building from the outside. It was quite a nice sized property. Good powerful and hot shower. The bed was really comfortable, lush pillows and lots of wardrobe space.
Gated garden wasn’t secure for our dog, there was a big gap under the fence and he escaped and went to visit the neighbours! Luckily they brought him back and no harm came to him! That hole needs to be filled. The finish of the property inside wasn’t great for the price of stay. The paintwork, tiling and flooring in the bathroom, the wobbly kitchen unit and wobbly stools, the bedroom door scraped the floor so didn’t open and close properly. The water dispenser in the fridge doesn’t work. It was very warm inside, a better fan or air con unit is needed.

Everything else was perfect, a beautiful place to stay and enjoy the gorgeous area.
Views exceptional
Plenty of parking
A long way from the main road, so really quiet.
Lovely little garden outside the Nook with picnic table and chairs to enjoy the estate
Extractor fan didnt work in bathroom - needs sorting
2 x stools in kitchen both need fixing - very wobbly
Breakfast bar not very steady
Other than that the duvet on the bed was way too thick for summer use and no alternative available.
All very minor things that are very easily remedied to make the place perfect.

A nice rural location close to Cirencester and wider Cotswolds.
The cottage was not very clean and was showing wear and tear and was very poorly furnished, particularly in upstairs bedroom and bathroom, with broken bedroom mirror, limited furnishings and pealing paint work. Only 1 small tv in lounge and none in kitchen diner or upstairs bedroom. Two guard dogs in back of property serving main house which was somewhat intimidating and would scare small children as they came up to windows and barked loudly, particularly at night. This has the potential to be a great accommodation but owners need to go the extra mile and up the specification and make it more homely. To us it appeared they have not put any effort in! Would expect televisions in each room and a dishwasher as there was ample space in kitchen diner. Also could do with some general maintenance and painting.

Very comfortable bed and the nook had been decorated really nicely. Great outdoor space with a gate and fence so it was perfect as we had dogs. Hosts were great and quick to respond to messages. Lovely surroundings and a short car journey to shops, pubs and cotswold villages.
It was very warm due to the boiler warming up the whole flat and when we opened up the windows lots of flies came in.
Could hear the flat above.

Private, enclosed, great quality. Fantastically done with great views. Layout was fab. Quiet. Decor was great.
Denham from the estate was a massive help in sorting my sons car out! :)
For something of this size and quality there was no where near enough cutlery or crockery or glasses and some of what's there is chipped. At c £500 per night this can surely be resolved. The key pad to get the key was difficult to open. Some sun loungers or patio furniture would have helped, not enough for number of people.

We like everything, there was all you might need plus extras like the ice machine. Fabulous hot showers and lots of hot water at all times. Loads of parking.
Would have liked a sheet in the cupboard as the duvet a little warm for the summer, but really that is the only thing and it is being a little picky.

Nice location and clean, tidy cottage.
The main house behind the cottages has three guard dogs, which are described as ‘dangerous’ on a sign. It was quite intimidating when they came to the back window of the cottage and barked quite ferociously. Wouldn’t recommend if you have a non-guard dog, small children or if you’re nervous around dogs. Didn’t make for a relaxing stay as, even though they were unable to get through to the open area for the cottages they still made you anxious. Shame as would have been really good without this.

Location and area fantastic.
Open fire beautiful
Spacious cottage
Nice towels and linen

A welcome information folder would have been useful
