A casa é limpa, o staff é atencioso, nas casas de banho há produtos de higiene disponíveis e o pequeno almoço é sofrível.

Não se consegue descansar. Não se dorme, literalmente. As portas rangem. Os puxadores e os ferrolhos das portas são dos antigos e fazem imenso ruído ao abrir e fechar. A construção é de péssima qualidade. Não recomendo a quem queira dormir. Ouvimos relatos de festas organizadas à entrada da casa nos dias anteriores à nossa chegada. Reservámos e pagámos 2 noites. O ruído na casa nunca cessa. As portas deveriam ser retificadas, bem como os puxadores e fechos. O ruído para a elaboração do pequeno almoço começa cedíssimo. Reportámos o nosso descontentamento à proprietária. E resolvemos sair pelas 11h após a primeira noite. Estivemos menos de 24h na casa alegria. A proprietária não fez nenhum refund. Não devolveu o valor da noite nem dormida nem sequer os cinco pequenos almoços não consumidos - os da segunda noite. Numa atitude xenófoba, limitou-se a dizer que “estamos em África”. Nem esboçou um pedido de desculpa nem um lamento. Ouvimos relatos de prepotência desta senhora relativamente a compatriotas nossos, mais jovens. Que, por serem jovens, se sentiram intimidados. Na nossa estadia em Cabo Verde já pernoitámos no pestana praia, no king fisher do Tarrafal (a 5 minutos da Casa Alegria, mas de uma qualidade extraordinária). E são hotéis fantásticos. E sossegados. Estas atitudes xenófobas - achar que África é subdesenvolvida e que ps portugueses são para maltratar - serão reportadas à nossa embaixada e apresentada queixa formal por xenofobia na plataforma Booking.

Mon lit c’était un petit lit un peu juste pour un adulte mais la literie était très bonne

Excellent place in Tarrafal for a couple of days. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, particularly Irene did a great job helping with all questions and arrangements for local transportation.

It’s a very nice b&b with good facilities, and quite steady internet. The breakfast was decent with loads of choice and some homemade cakes

There’s no kettle in the room though it’s not a big deal as guests are welcome to use the kitchen.

Amazing stay, the staff is great, Tarrafal is great!

Perfect place to rest and work at the same time, only five min from the beach and the shops of Tarrafal, but super quiet. WiFi was good. Breakfast tasty en fresh. Staff smiling, helpful and always available for questions. Testing Casa Alegria for our clients to enjoy, we found our new "home" from home. Keep up the good work. We will be back.

Well, where to start from? The place is simply excellent! It's one of the places that you would want to visit again in your life, not just to be in a city/town but also to stay in that exact same place. The room and the place in general was spotless clean, everything looked very new and fresh and it was decorated wonderfully, everyday the staff left small gifts which was a very nice detail. The breakfast was delicious, it's cooked literally next door and brought to the breakfast area, hot&fresh, and it varied from day to day, which was also very nice. Everyone who works at the hotel is wonderful, very helpful and very kind, always greeting you with a genuine smile and making you feel welcome. It's located about 10 minutes of walking distance from the beach, and 6-7 minutes from very nice restaurants. Tarrafal in itself is a beautiful place, but this place I think has made it even more special for me. Even though staying there was so nice and special, departing was equally difficult and I hope to return to this place one day in the future. Thank you very much!

Absolutely nothing.

The b&b is located perfectly, close to the center and the beach but still in a very calm street. The room is extremely clean and makes you feel like home. The staff were beyond amazing, very helpful. Irene and Jose gave us great tips, and organized a fishing boat for us. Next to that, you can exercise at their gym for only 200esc so all in all it felt like a full hotel experience. Would Definitely come back!

The communication with the managerial team, very pro active and responsive.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us tips for our stay and helping arrange hiking with a guide. The roof terrace is a wonderful space for breakfast, reading and just chilling out

Our room got quite hot (even with a fan) and was a bit on the small side

Irene and her team do everything to make you feel at home. You can ask all the questions you want, they have all the answers. Rooftop breakfast is great. The rooms are nicely decorated and well equipped. Free drinks in the fridge. More drinks are available in the "honesty bar". Buy a drink and enjoy it in the sitting area on the rooftop.

Actually nothing, but take into account that you are in Tarrafal (in the beginning, the semi-finished houses give a bit of an usual sight).

Everything was just right with attention to small details. The bed was comfy, the shower hot, it was super clean, great breakfast and the staff and owner are super friendly
