Check in and communication with the property manager was easy. The location was great (we’ve stayed at the Tidewater many times before). However, there was no toilet paper in my bathroom - not even some left on the holder, so I took the extra roll in the primary bedroom - when I brought this to their attention, we were brought ONE roll; the hair dryers were very low quality; the bedspreads in the secondary bedroom were cheap and synthetic, so they didn’t breathe and were unbearably hot; and the people upstairs dragged furniture across the floor a lot, and we could hear it all VERY well.

We really enjoyed staying at tidewater. Place was immaculate, well furnished, attractive and had everything. Updated and comfy. The only note I would offer is not a reflection on the property or owner. This is a very family friendly vacation community with lots of kids having a good time. This unit is right next to pool. Not a big problem for us as we spent most days sightseeing or on beach. Pool was quiet at night. If you have kids this is your unit! I'd go back.

We have always loved Charleston but never stayed in any beach towns. We were so at ease with our stay. The condo was well equipped with anything we needed. Everything was immaculate. We cannot wait to return.

The condo was as advertised and we especially liked the pool and beach access space nice I walk with a cane. The ramp to the condo was perfect for our needs.

I stayed here with my wife and 1 year old son, as well as my mother in law. This place is fantastic! Check in was painless. No key needed, just enter a code for the door. Everything was clean on arrival, and looked better than the pictures. Screened in porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and drinks at night. Pool is literally steps away, with the beach not much further. The owner was in touch with us to make sure everything was good, then let us enjoy our vacation. Overall, this place was well worth the cost. My family all had an outstanding time. We would recommend it to anyone. We have already started planning another trip here with the other side of the family so no one feels left out!

Our stay couldn't have been more perfect. As a frequent customer of VRBO - this is by far one of the CLEANEST vacation rentals. Additionally, each room was classically decorated with a beach theme. Not to mention, this place had everything we needed, down to the apple watch and iphone chargers! The beach is less than a 2 minute walk and the pool was not crowded a nice place to cool off when we were done with the beach. The communication with Nathan was such a great experience! He was VERY timely in his responses as well as provided very helpful information. This trip was spent with my daughter, her two friends and their moms (5th grade graduation). All three girls slept in the king bed, two of us slept in the room with the twins while the other mom slept on the sleeper sofa which was (according to her) very comfortable. The max capacity for this rental is 6 - but we never felt crowded. I talked to my husband and we plan to revisit as a family! If I had one complaint, it would be that we didn't stay long enough.

This condo is better than described! It's a great location with both a pool & beach view. Everything was extremely clean! Alec, the property manager, has great customer service skills and is very responsive. All in all, this was one the best VRBO rentals we have been to in the Charleston area!

This is a great place in every aspect for us. It was clean, and quiet and just a short walk to the beach. Very good restaurant choices nearby, and grocery availability. When we needed help, the property manager was kind and immediately responded.

Tidewater I102 was perfect - lanai is steps away from the pool, and just beyond that are the dunes and beach. Located within the expansive Wild Dunes resort complex, the community (Tidewater buildings H&I) is very quiet - we often had the pool to ourselves and the beach was never very busy. The beach itself is wide, from dunes to water, and very clean. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of the Wild Dunes hotel, which we appreciate. Communication was very clear and we knew who to contact with any problems, but we had none. The condo was clean and well-appointed, with lots of towels, pillows, blankets, beach chairs, games, boogie board & beach umbrella. There was also a great starter kit of dishwasher detergent, dish soap & sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, garbage bags, shampoo/conditioner, and hand soap. We have 2 adults and 4 kids and used the sleeper sofa for 2 of the kids. Since we were only there 3 nights it worked but for a longer stay we would need a third bedroom - otherwise we would stay here again in a heartbeat. The front door has a keypad entry, which is nice so that you don’t have to get a key when you check in, and you don’t have to remember a key. It was a little finicky, figuring out how to ensure it was locked. I would have loved it if the back door to the lanai had the same keypad so we could go out that door to the beach without leaving our belongings unsecured. My only complaints, which are insignificant: The pool & pool deck could use a bit more cleaning in my opinion but the rest of my family didn’t care. I would have liked another bar of soap for each bathroom for showering. And the washing machine is in a very tight closet, making it very difficult to put soap in it without taking the closet door off the track. The tiny space also makes it necessary to keep the washing machine door closed, which of course means the machine grows mold. The “downtown” are of Isle of Palms is where most restaurants (& the grocery store) are, and it is about a 15 minute drive south, since the condo is on the northern end of the island. Would be nice to have some walkable beachfront dining from the condo but not a dealbreaker. Most restaurants in IOP do not have an ocean view, surprisingly. We played tennis at the Wild Dunes courts twice as well - you just call them to book court time. The courts were well-maintained clay courts. Overall, a lovely stay!
