I love the fact that the property is close to Red Hook where we could shop for groceries and go out to restaurants. It was clean and well maintained.

We were very close to running out of toilet paper. We stayed for 5 days so 1/2 of a roll wasn’t gonna cut it. called to ask for more and they forgot to bring it. The lights also went out on the island for about 1 hr I called hostess because I didn’t know what was going on and she told “what you calling me for”? So rude!! There was also blood along the walls, the steps and the rail leading up to the apartment.

Waterside bar was fun, and there is a small nature trail with beautiful views nearby with a nice restaurant and pool next to it. The unit had a nice shower.

There were small ants/termites all over the walls and counters, with some even being on us while we slept. Also the apartment was not particularly clean, with there being an outlet ripped out of wall, no Internet, broken lamp, and broken deadbolt. You are right next to the parking lot and with the shutter windows that do not fully close, it can be quite noisy in the morning/at night. Unfortunately the walking path to Margaritaville was underwater too, with us being more or less isolated on this resort unless we called a taxi.

The location was great! All the excursions we booked were right outside the condo or a short drive. Took a sun set cruise that left from Margartiaville which is directly left of the condo. I was skeptical because I read a review that said condo wasn't as nice as pictures but it looked exactly the same! There were also beach bags, toys, snorkel gear and other items available in the cabinet near the front door. Bed was very soft and there was plenty of cabinet space which was my favorite part of the condo.

However, some downfalls were that the island apparently has frequent island wide power outages and I was not able to use/charge my phone, take a shower, etc. The bar below also did not have power, however we were able to walk over to Margaritaville to eat breakfast and charge up our devices. Also, condo had what i think were beach flees and we got bit up pretty bad one night but i think this is just what comes with being right off the ocean. Also, my spouse accidentally left food out on the counter over night and there were a ton of ants the next morning coming from the cabinet. Heels were also very sketchy and there are no guard rails which made me not want to drive anymore but I got over it and it was worth it.

Loved the location. Glad we had a little kitchen to keep drinks and little snacks.

It was a bit loud with drunk people coming and going late at night.
