This was a must needed trip for our family! We loved the nature that this island has to offer and this property enhances that. The property was very clean, and everything was just as advertised and in working condition. The management company was very thorough and answered every question we had and ensured we had a great time. We highly recommend this property and we will definitely we returning! Very nice house and an excellent location. To bad the shrubs can’t be trimmed back. If so, the vote would be so much better, but it was a great location on the island..

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and well-stocked home on BHI. Close enough to the Harbortown for morning bike rides. Nice large dining room table for sharing meals with family and friends. Stocked kitchen has all you need and market is another bike or golf cart ride away!

We have very much enjoyed our multiple visits to Bald Head Island but spent a great deal during this vacation dealing with house related issues. The management company (iTrip) only communicated via text message, and has since stopped responding to us all together despite multiple attempts to reach them after our stay. Some issues included , siding falling off the house, sand in the beds upon arrival, upstairs AC not working, golf carts non functional, windows and doors wouldn't lock, vents above our bed held on with painters tape, trash in the yard, bbq grills completely rusted out, bikes completely rusted out, garage power worked intermittently, just to name a few of the many problems we had to constantly text back and forth about. Our goal was to have a carefree vacation but several hours each day were spent dealing with these and other issues, not to mention a very unhappy spouse with whom they refused to communicate because she wasn't on the contract. The home has so much potential, but I cant say that we would do business with this group again.

My family of six and Goldendoodle planned our early April trip around my 80th birthday and four other March birthdays. The house was perfect size for all to move around in and home furnishings and decor were outstanding.
The location to BHI Club was perfect, as we are a golfing family. My son actually walked over to the course one day. We certainly benefitted from our temporary membership to the BHI Club and enjoyed three days of golf, dinner in three locations at the club, and made use of the pool.....great inclusive deal.
The owners left three carts, one big enough for clubs and two had weather shields needed for rainy days.
My son and daughter enjoyed morning walks along the nearby beach with the dog. We were able to easily navigate the island and take in a real mix of golfing shopping, and sightseeing. I would highly recommend this property to multi-aged families who desire a complete housing package for their vacation. Finally, I appreciated the owner's instructions for entering and leaving the house. They were very complete and made the entire rental experience a pleasure. I would book this property again!!!

We visited for some pre-construction meetings on the island. We requested to extend our trip 3 different times and iTrip was very responsive and accommodating. House had everything we need plus nice ocean views from the top deck. The proximity to the BHI Club was great and we even walked there several times.

Have been to BHI yearly since 2017. have stayed in multiple places. Very pleased with the place. It's secluded so neighbors weren't an issue. Most locals are cool but there are enough there to run into some rude ones LOL.
The distance to the beach was the biggest issue but not a big issue. BHI club close by but I stopped using that service years ago. Great location for Marina/shops. Kids had a great time. Minor issues with the house and golf carts but iTrips were very easy to work with to get them resolved. Plan to rent again next year.

Perfect location for enjoying all the beaches in Bald Head Island. The property does overlook the golf club and club golf cart parking and maintenance area, but absolutely no noise from inside the house, and we honestly enjoyed hearing the faint sounds of people enjoying themselves from the tennis area and pool - added to the vacation vibe! No privacy issues and great views of the beach and ocean from the second floor bedroom was a bonus! There were some minor cleanliness issues in the kitchen on arrival (fridge shelves and coffee maker quite dirty) but didn’t deter from the stay and bathrooms, living areas were spotless. Great communication from rental agency. Would definitely stay again

ITrip vacations goes above and beyond and they made everything so easy. The house was completely spotless. Very well stocked and furniture was even new since the pictures! Awesome location, and love BHI. Will definitely use this company again because they were amazing!

We enjoyed our stay at you property. Bed and linens were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very clean and useful. We did see some bugs around the house and deck areas but nothing in the home. Overall a nice experience…

Nice house but roaches all over screened in.porch and a few found inside of home. Impossible to relax because of it.
Really difficult to lock doors and only half roll of toilet paper in each bath. Bring your own everything and of you need to buy anything, bring lots of money because prices at the market are ridiculously expensive.

We have been vacationing at Bald Head Island for the last 15 years. We have stayed at multiple rental properties, and this is by far our favorite! We have rented this house three times in just over the last year. The homeowners have thought of everything to make this a great rental property and allow their renters to have an amazing beach vacation. The house is very kid and pet friendly. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything that you could need during your trip to the beach. There are plenty of bicycles for the whole family to enjoy. They provide both indoor and outdoor games to play. There is a very nice screened in porch to allow you to enjoy the outdoors without getting bothered by bugs. The house also allows you to get memberships to both of the clubs on the island. The baldhead Island club is within view of the house and is a very short walking distance from the house. We have enjoyed every stay at this house so far, and will definitely be back again!

Kitchen is adequate and beds have good mattresses. Porches and screened porch too filthy to enjoy- spiders, roaches, accumulated dirt. Property manager sent crew to power wash, but the effect lasted only two days before grime was back.

My family - including our dogs! - loved our time at this beautiful spot! Such a well-cared for home and everything is well done there... didn't feel like an over-used rental. This was our first time to Bald Head Island - it is such a special place. Hopefully we will be back!

This is one of the most well stocked houses we’ve stayed in on BHI. Kitchen tools, games for all ages, beach towels and toys, and so much more! The listing very accurately reflected the property. Walk to BHIC and the house is just a short cart ride to beach access. Highly recommend!

This home is updated, spacious, and conveniently located next to the beach and the BHI club. It has a view of the ocean from the upper floors and a wonderful screened in porch. We love it. The home was very clean and the property management was excellent. Would stay there again!

We have been coming to BHI the last 5yrs and love it however this is the first time we have stayed somewhere where our entire family said they would love to come back next year. Great location, pet and family friendly and great customer service.

Great spot. Well stocked kitchen with good quality appliances, pots, pans, and spatulas. It was funny, that toilet people have mentioned was still running. We just avoided using it but would have fixed it if it wasn’t an odd model. Great stay and would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blackbeard's Return on Bald Head Island. Excellent home with all the necessities. The home was well maintained and was stocked with games and videos (via HD connected to main TV). Good location on the island and some truly beautiful sunrises from a large screened porch. The only downside to location was noise, the house was located across a small pond from the golf course and early morning you had engine noises from the grounds keepers and noise from the tennis courts in he afternoon. The upstairs deck was quiet and had great views of the ocean which made up for the small interruptions early in the morning. This was not an issue for us but if you had small children using the bunk bedroom you had to access the upstairs deck though that room.
