Jammer - maar gezien de accommodatie wel begrijpelijk - dat er geen kitchenette was. Wel voldoende servies en bestek, en mogelijkheden om koffie en thee te zetten.

Host greeted us on arrival and was able to recommend a restaurant for dinner that was within walking distance. Lodging was in a beautifully decorated, thoroughly modern, older home. There is a sitting room/den separate from the bedroom. Lodging was on a private second level of the house.

The parking can be a bit difficult but there is a bus stop which is OK to park on from 4.00pm until 10.00 so it’s not a major issue.

Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Ross checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything. The site had everything I was looking for. We were there for the Women's World Cup for two weeks. They helped us send out laundry. There were treats that were wonderful and they started us off with a bowl of fruit. I'd go back again.
I liked it all. It was perfect for our needs. No problems.

Ross was quick and very helpful with his responses. We had a most comfortable stay at Thorndon Heritage Listed Villa. It is beautiful, tastefully decorated with the most wonderful wallpapers. Our suite was spread across three rooms, private and spacious; an easy place to stay in. We stayed three nights and with Ross' instructions were able to effectively manage our car parking. A handy location to connect with the ferry. Highly recommended.

A super comfortable set up in a lovely area of Wellington. Proximity to the Ferry terminal is perfect (under 10 minutes drive)
Microwave, Jug & Toaster available along with all crockery, cutlery & lovely glassware. Would highly recommend.

Location, I was sole customer. the bedroom was very spacious with a separate lounge. mini kitchen with microwave, kettle, fridge & toaster. even a welcoming bowl of fruit. Netflix and other pay TV channels available at no extra cost.

This really is the most tastefully decorated villa! The location is magic with the city and its attractions right on your doorstep. I can not speak too highly of the host!! Nothing is too much trouble inc making a cardboard carry-all to make it easier for me to carry a framed painting. I will definitely be using this place as my "go to" accommodation any time I am back in Wellington. The facilities are also excellent. Thank you for such a special weekend.

Spacious! Comfortable and warm. The bathtub was a bonus. It was only 15 minutes walk to the train station after passing the beautiful parliament buildings and grounds, and even closer to the town green belt which I took advantage of going for a walk to clear my mind before an interview.
Host was lovely, gave me all the information I needed in good time and very responsive and helpful to additional requests.

It’s so beautiful and much bigger than the photos make it look. It is well equipped with interesting travel books to read. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Parking can be a little bit tricky however there are permits available to purchase for all day parking on the street.

Ross and Vicki were very nice and helpful.
windows rattled all night in the wind so it was hard to get to sleep until I put in some earplugs halfway through the night. suggest cardboard shims for windows to stop rattling.

Excellent communication with host from initial booking to personal welcome on arrival. The apartment suite is located in a beautiful traditional house we had separate lounge and cooking facilities (microwave, toaster, kettle). We liked being able to walk to harbour area, botanical Gardens (Excellent cafe). Enjoyed good steak at the Thistle Inn 10 mins from property. Key code door lock allowed freedom of movement & security without need of key.

We were staying here for one night, as we were taking the Interislander Ferry the next morning. Ross was a great host, very easy to communicate with, and this property is historic and beautiful, not to mention SPACIOUS!
The ceilings are high, the bathroom has both a shower and a tub, there's a lounge/office room, all in addition to the bedroom.
The property was very clean, and it was a close drive to the ferry.
We also really liked that there weren't keys involved, as the way to enter is a digital keypad. Ross explained everything ahead of our arrival as well, so there was no confusion.
This wasn't a deal breaker for me, but one thing to note was there isn't air conditioning. There were fans in the bedroom, which were quite powerful and helped keep us cool that the lack of A/C wasn't noticeable.

Lovely clean BnB. Perfect for our one night stay. I would highly recommend this property. Very close to the ferries to the South Island.

Great location, close to stadium and city centre. Comfy bed, good shower.
The host lives in other part of house but you could not tell. separate section, door locked. Didn’t negatively impact on stay.
