the location was amazing. walking distance to everything.
This unit was stuck in a time capsule. ZERO updates since it was built 40 years ago. while walking though the hallways- you can see inside some of the other units and ours was for sure the only one we saw not updated. however this is all fine compared to what happened: while we were home ( 2 days into our 6 day stay ) one of the staff ? or… realty people ? or … we don’t know who it was but someone that had a key- let themself in while we were home… no knock. no call ahead of time… just showed up and needed to “ fix the toilet paper roll “ and went into the master bathroom for 20 min. all of our things were out- with Covid , with this being a romantic get away— this uninvited, uncalled for impromptu service call was so odd and creepy I wouldn’t stay again. THEN when I told the staff about this upon checkout I FELT I was the crazy one like this was normal and okay …. I’m not sure who else to mention this to- hence the post, anyway, the city of vail is magical. that’s all I have to say about that.

The heater to the pool did not work which made it unusable—very disappointing; plastic wrap on lower stairwells making stair use concerning
