The accommodations and decor were welcoming and comfortable. The location in the woods were exactly what we were looking for.

The bushes at the bridge obscured traffic coming around the curve in the road.

Beautiful location. Great communications from the owners. Sandy even brought over food the first night when we realized most of the local restaurants were closed, and it was a long drive (on motorcycle) at night to the grocery.

Graham county is a dry county, which I didn't realize. Restaurants closed very early, although we loved the Tapoco Lodge. Not anyone's fault, but it's a longer drive than you realize to get anywhere due to the mountain roads.

Everything about this property was beyond words....excellent! The hosts are amazing, so caring, attention to detail, not to mention their talent as artists and in putting together the beauty of their cabin. Wish we were not under Covid alert as we would have loved to chat and get to know them better. Very sweet couple. Love their artistic style...and lovely personalities. The location is perfect especially when we wanted to basically isolate. We want to return.

Nothing to report....maybe our concern for curious bears, but didn’t see or meet any. We had bear repellent.
