Close to village and clean. Had most cooking utensils but lacking a bit if you like to cook properly. Lovely area to sit outside for an evening drink although extremely exposed to street and other properties so really no privacy at all. Linen very clean and bathroom has heated towel rail. Doesn't really heat the room though which is bitterly cold in winter. This property best for families with small kids. Not really for adults with sophisticated tastes.

Bitterly cold on arrival. Took alot to get fire going and heat the property. Only 4 pieces of wood in wood shed so had to go out to get wood. Suggest cleaning staff start fire and warm property before arrival. I saw one staff member who dropped in just after my arrival to put more stock in. Neighbour came to complain about me having outside light on (at 8pm at night) which I preferred so I could take out garbage and gather sticks for fire. I understand that the neighbours in the area cause a lot of difficulties. I made no noise whatsoever yet they still found a reason to complain.

This place is decorated beautifully with a lovely log fire to warm you up in the winter. The wine and breakfast goodies were a lovely touch.

Bed could be softer as extremely firm and uncomfortable for our liking!

The location & facilities were fantastic and the eggs, bread & wine waiting for us was a real treat.
