This is an attractive unit with fabulous ocean views. Pros: Views, very well equipped kitchen, attractive living/dining area with lots of seating, easy access to beach. Negatives: Not as clean as it could have been, no door on master bathroom. We were a large family group who rented this property and the one a few steps away (#2180062) which is a great option for larger groups to rent two units so near one another.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Condo was great and setting was just beautiful. Downtown Fernandina Beach 10 minute drive is a gem. We will be back.

Quaint downtown, great old fashioned bookstore and delicious restaurants. Nice view of ocean but not exactly on the beach. Pool was nice but no nearby bathrooms had to return to condo. Outdoor landscaping is very well maintained.

Condo and resort are wonderful! Clean beautiful beach, great pool-everything you need for 7 ( 2 were toddlers).
Only thing preventing full 5stars: dishwasher only cleaned bottom rack and one of the recliners was broken. Aside from that - a great place with amazing views from top floor for both sunrise and sunset!

The place was very nice. Great views from every room. One thing that I really didn't like was that the master bathroom did not have a door separating it from the bedroom so no privacy in the bathroom.

We loved our stay at Shipwatch! It was easy to get to the pool and beach. The sunsets and sunrises from the condo were lovely! The trail that goes through the Omni property is really beautiful and shaded (for walks, run, biking). We took a day trip to Cumberland Island and loved how so much of it is untouched. Beautiful. We also went kayaking on Lofton Creek which was peaceful and a great way to start our day. I highly recommend this condo!

We loved staying at this property. It was even bigger than the pictures suggest, large rooms with lots of closet space. The views are perfection and it was seamless checking in and out.

Beautiful place, beautiful location. We came here to celebrate two friends’ birthdays. We loved the option of pool or ocean, and the option of eating in or eating out. The place was clean and the views amazing. Walking distance to the Omni where you can eat , shop or play mini golf.

This condo has amazing views of the ocean. It is located in a very peaceful and clean complex. The heated pool is in easy walking distance and brought many hours of delight. This was the perfect place to stay to attend the Amelia Island Concours. The resort has so many wonderful things to do- bike rental, nature center, nature classes and beautiful walking paths. The condo was beautifully furnished and very spacious. It truly made a perfect trip even more special. Thank you for sharing this amazing property. We cannot wait to return.

We stayed late February 2023 at this condo and it was exactly as the photos show. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing location on the beach, this is it. The people on the beach were spread out, giving us space to look for seashells (so many of them!) and lay around watching the waves. Everyone we met on the beach and in the pool area were friendly and we loved all of the dogs we met too! This is such a clean, well-maintained condo with everything you could want for a stay at the beach. We loved sitting on the deck and watch the sun rise – most beautiful sun rises. And, when you want to watch the sunset, just head over to the other patio on the other side to watch over the trees. When we had questions, the property management team were incredibly fast to respond and very professional. We would recommend anyone staying here. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to experience this relaxing place!

Amelia Island is such a beautiful vacation. We electric biked and rented a golf cart and never had to leave the resort. There was a par 3 and full course golf, playgrounds, and nature resort, so many things to do as a family. Highly recommend.

This is the second time that we have stayed in this unit. It is very clean, has a wonderful layout. Clean pool, and very close to the ocean. All the amenities of the plantation are close by. Would rent again.

Our family had a wonderful time at this property! It was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! We had a mix of ages from 8 to 80 and we were thrilled with this unit. Watching the sunrise from the oversized balcony and the sunset from porch on the other side of the unit was amazing! We are planning our next vacation and will definitely be back!

We've stayed at many condos in AIP over the years. Shipwatch is one of our favorites as is this unit! Awesome views, well appointed including items for the beach/pool, plenty of room for a family, and the large balcony is one of my favorite spots. Also if you're coming in colder weather, Shipwatch is one of the few condos with a HEATED pool. :)

We chose this property based on location and bed size as we were 6 women (5 sisters and mom). It was perfect! The villa is well appointed with everything needed. The views were amazing with Sunrise on one side and Sunset on the other. The owner was quick to response to any questions and where to rent beach chairs. We had a great time. Thanks for the use of your beautiful home!

The accommodations are fine. The property could use a deep clean. The carpet under and behind the beds wasn’t vacuumed, as evidenced by the remnants of snacks from previous occupants. Additionally, the thick dust on the fans and wall decor gave the vibe that cleanliness isn’t top priority.
The tub/shower in the room with the double beds has a shower rod that has been installed or repaired and is now backwards. As a result, showering in it results in a battle with the curtain. Just a detail that became a hassle.
There is a need for new towels as well. Stained linens, again, gave the impression that cleanliness wasn’t a priority.
The common space and the balcony area were fabulous! Great for families to enjoy time together. And the location on Amelia Island cannot be beat. Love staying on the Omni Plantation property!

The property manager Amy was super responsive and helpful whenever we needed her. The walk to the beach was super quick and the pool is directly next to the condo. Views cannot be beat! It's the perfect set up of rooms for two families with two masters and a 3rd room with 2 queens, all with en suite bathrooms. We will definitely stay here again!
