I was there with 3 other friends and we had a perfect location! J3 was right next to the pool and we just had to walk down the stairs and we were poolside! We were also walking distance to several good bars and restaurants. The condo was excellent but the stairs to the second floor (kitchen and living room) and 3rd floor (2 BRs) were steep and my friend with a bad knee was stuck on the bottom floor, which had its own BR, bath and living room.

The house is amazing, the host is responsive and nice. What I did not like was the Keys. I was expecting beaches, I even had asked the host about a beach to watch the sunrise nearby and after checking in, I was told "oh, didn't you know? there are no beaches here", had I known that, I would not have gone there, Key Largo in general was not what I expected. The house, however, is really nice, very clean, well stocked and in a nice resort, it just was not what we had hoped for.

We thoroughly enjoyed with place. It was updated, clean, comfy beds, and had pretty much everything you need. Very family friendly!

Great stay

The condo is very clean and spacious. In a great location with lots of food options close by. I would recommend and stay again. The property was maintained beautifully and check in was very easy. Gated community.

We were 2 families with teens traveling together with a total of 7 people. The unit was great and provided plenty of room. The kids loved hanging at the pool and swimming in the lagoon. There are several pools to choose from. The pool closest to this unit doesn't have much shade, but there are others with shade in close walking distance. The property is also within walking distance to a couple of great restaurants. We would stay here again!

The pictures are very accurate and it was even nicer than the photos! We stayed with 6 ladies for a bachelorette and had plenty of space to spread out. Only things we missed were a full length mirror and toiletries in the bathroom so plan accordingly!

A weekend wasn’t long enough to enjoy all there was to offer here. No complaints- just not enough time!

Very nice unit. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bedding, and very clean. The bathrooms are a little tight (not much counter space), but overall a wonderful stay. Only thing I didn't like is that the master bedroom has a sheer curtain so lots of sunlight in the morning.

The actual unit was very nice, roomy and beds and sofas very comfortable. The kitchen was ok definitely could have used some decent frying pans, just to cook a simple breakfast. The actual complex appeared old, the pools were small and had very limited seating, definitely not a resort pool. Location was ok but I wish I knew nothing about Key Largo is walkable.

The owner does not take pride in the property, and given how much we are paying per night, having a broken stair to avoid, a missing door handle on the freezer compartment, a missing handling on a sliding walkout door, no towel hooks in the bathroom to hang damp towels, no light controls by the beds, I would expect better from a townhome on VRBO. I would not recommend this property at this time until these shortcomings are addressed by the owner.

The place was great. Unfortunately we had a watch taken by someone who had entered while we were out. I called the property manager and she never returned my call.

Great location. Quiet and secure neighborhood. The only negative would be the all the stairs in the unit. Otherwise great trip

This condo was the perfect place to stay while in town for a friends wedding. Everything was clean and modern. A lot of amenities on the property as well as a convinient location

I rented the unit over a weekend with a small group of friends, including one child. This exact unit was undergoing maintenance at the time, but the host was great and was able to switch us to another beautiful property with no issues. I cannot speak on this exact unit but the host’s other unit was clean and updated, I would imagine this unit would be taken care of the same. Host was communicative and helpful. Would stay at one of their units again in the future!

Since the moment I book the there was great communication. Once we arrived The unit was clean, Simply and Appropriately decorated. It was in a great location. Near the guard gate and one of the pools was directly behind the unit. The four balconies were perfect for everyone to enjoy, sunrise or sunsets. Quiet morning coffee or evening wine. The unit had everything needed, kitchen was well stocked. Overall very excited to come back and will recommend to our friends.

Our unit was right near the complex pool. The home was decorated in a cheery, welcoming way. The location was close to Pennekamp Park and local tours.

Rented for the weekend and it was perfect for our family of 5!

It was easy to book, directions, check in and out. There was quite a few minor things broke. Door handle to bedroom balcony. The freezer handled kitchen cabinet lazy Susan, etc. I didn’t mind at all just didn’t want to be responsible for any of it. Over all 5 star. Thanks for allowing my family and I to stay :)

Property itself is great. 3 story townhouse with plenty of room. Lots of stairs, kitchen in the middle. Fridge wasn't making any ice (Samsung) and there is none on the property which was inconvenient. Community pool was super cold, they actually chill it but too much where it's uncomfortable to swim in. Location is close to everything, very convenient. Over all I'd say it's great value and good place to stay in

Some minor fixes would go a long way to improve this unit: a working ice maker, missing freezer drawer handle, wobbly door handles, broken/missing shower tiles & recaulking, broken cabinet doors. Beds and couch are comfy, stairs are steep so use caution. Kawama is a smaller, more established, but well maintained resort community. This condo is a great value for moderately priced properties.

We loved our stay with this specific VRBO. The home was very clean and everything was accurate to the photos. The stairs were very narrow and short at times, but no major issues with the property itself. Beds were comfortable, AC was cold in all the rooms and all the appliances worked well. Also, great location and close to great restaurants like Sharky’s and Snook’s. If you bring a boat, the dock right there is even more appealing! The real issue is with the actual Kawama management. First of all, they only have one key for the tennis courts for the entire community of over 300+ residents. So that means that when we tried to play tennis, we had to either wait by the courts in hopes of another community member letting us in, or we could call each of the members and ask if they have the key (those were the options security initially gave us). We asked security if they could do the calling instead, and we finally tracked down the keys to open the courts. Just a bit of an ordeal. Also, you should note that the jetty on the water is there to collect residue from the mangroves and trash from the northeast parts of key largo. Aka = it smells pretty terrible. Also, there was major maintenance on the roads during our stay, requiring us to take our vehicles through dirt roads and back woods. And if you want a place with a grill, this one does not have one and there are only charcoal grills on the premises, just FYI. Overall, I gave this place a 5/5 because the place itself truly was and I don’t think the VRBO manager deserves a bad review. However, I do hope that this review is seen by kawama management so that they can step up their game a little.

Excellent location to the pool. Plenty of room. Drawbacks were the WIFI didn't work until the last full day. This presented us with issues with the baby monitor and work. Also the ice maker did not work at all. This was a true inconvenience.
