This house works out very well for us. It was clean when we arrived. There was enough area plowed out for all 4 of our trucks and trailers. Thanks for that we appreciated this. We’ve been staying here 5 or 6 years now. And started to prep for next year. Thank you for providing this property to rent.

We had a group of 8 friends and we picked this house because it looked like it would be a place we’d all enjoy. It did not disappoint! We loved the secluded pool and to be able to dock our boat next to the house. The tiki bar was a hit and we spent every night out there relaxing. There is the flight path above, but it didn’t bother us.

We had an amazing family vacation with 4 generations of our family and dog. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Home was well stocked with towels, appliances, dishes, etc. Didn’t realize home was on the flight path of nearby airport, difficult to put kayaks and paddle boards in canal, and not much of a view. Near stores, marina, etc. Pool heater not working when arrived. Owner replaced unit within 3 days. Beds were comfortable but pillows were pretty thin. Roomy home that accommodated us all. Daily manatees in canal. They loved fresh water.

We enjoyed everything this property had to offer from the space to the location. Everything was well kept and clean with great responsiveness from the host to any questions we had. Would definitely rebook this property in the future.

The house was very clean and perfect for what we needed. The one bedroom being through the upstairs master was expected and just as described in the description of the house and it wasn’t bad having someone in there. The location of the home is in a good area just minutes from my favorite restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend this vacation house.

Had a great time. Nice restaurants and good eats. Was pleasantly surprised with the house. Kitchen was spotless and well equipped. Downstairs bathrooms also spotless One bathroom upstairs needed better cleaning All TVs worked including one outside at the bar. The only problem was with hot water heater on Friday, we had no hot water This was addressed right away. I would stay here again and would recommend it, however, for our next trip to Marathon we will be looking for a smaller place. Beth, please get back to me with smaller houses 2 bedroom for 3. So many issues. Here are a few we experienced. Upon checking in at 4pm people were removing a ping pong table. We contacted Beth to see what was going on and apparently the table was rotten per the last guest and it was being dumped. Beware of the Bunk Bed Room – this is not “Located down a hall way behind Master”, it is actually a converted closet in the master bed room with access through the master. Beth was responsive but not helpful. For example, Ice maker didn’t produce ice. We contacted Beth, who stated ‘”it won’t be able to be fixed this week – maintenance company takes vacation this week every year due to lobster season.” She offered to reimburse us for ice. Concerning that if anything goes wrong during the most popular week in the keys (mini season), you are on your own with this rental. Other issues we had. The stove is old and a knob missing, coffee maker burner was 100% rusted. We stayed in the master – the fan was covered in 3/8s of an inch of dust, the shower is unfinished, with mold that was enough to get caught under my nail, the bathroom vents had mold on them, and the mattress is well past its life span. The cabinets in the master bathroom and kitchen are peeling. Living room window wouldn’t shut leaving a 1-inch gap with no screen letting mosquitos in. Also, the yard had trash on the ground and landscape debris everywhere that we picked up and piled up. What topped it off was the internet going out. I notified Beth who stated she “will call Comcast in the morning”. Beth never followed up with me so I contacted Xfiniti myself. After being on the phone for about an hour in the morning (when I should be lobstering on the 1st day of Mini), I was able to get a tech out that day. Another person in our party had to stay behind and deal with the rep. After telling Beth about the appointment, at no time did she offer to wait for the rep. You will have to resolve any issue yourself, even though you are on vacation paying good money to stay here. This home has so much potential, unfortunately no one is putting in the time or money to bring this very dated house up to date and sufficiently clean it.

We were a group of 10 - 2 families and friends. There was plenty of room. The kids loved the pool and fishing and the adults loved the Tiki Bar. The location was perfect and suited all our needs. We met the grounds keeper during our visit and he was so incredibly nice and gave us great tips on some places to try!!! We would totally do this trip again!!!’

Property needs & little sprucing & maybe a little more detailed cleaning. It’s listed as a 5 bedroom but be aware that one of the rooms is very small with bunks & shares it’s entrance & bathroom with upstairs master. There is no outside entrance to balcony so you have to go thru master bedroom to access. Dressers in some of the bedroom had broken drawers & knobs so had to be careful when using. Pool was a pluse & glad we paid extra fee to have heated. Had 10 adults in our group. Lots of room so you never felt like you couldnt find a quiet space to relax. We had a very nice time & hope to come back one day.

Within 30 minutes the host had organized another place for our large group of 7 adults to stay for the night so that our home for the week could be cleaned and ready by 10am the next morning. Beth even covered our dinner out since we were inconvenienced. The local manager was responsive with bringing additional cleaning supplies needed for the week. Once things were set right we had a great week. The location was just right for our rented boat to have quick access to the Gulf for our excursions to both the ocean and Gulf sides. The heated pool and outdoor deck were perfect for relaxing after busy days of snorkeling and fishing. On the downside, some of the furniture, flooring, and kitchen equipment are worn. The home is perfect for large groups with multiple families but with all adults, the room with the bunk beds is hard to use since it is accessed through the largest bedroom/bath upstairs.

Our group of 11 enjoyed our stay. The main level and the backyard pool/patio were fabulous for hanging out as a group. We loved fishing from the canal and watching the pelicans and the manatee. Great memories were made.

We came for a family vacation and it was all we hoped for. We rented a boat for the week enjoyed the sand bars, fishing and exploring. It’s the middle key so close enough to spend a day in Key west also. The house was perfect for us in size and location. There are only two TV’s one in the living room and one out in the pool area at first I thought wow no TV in the bedrooms but it was great we had lots of fun without tv and electronics. I would highly recommend for families lots to do, for nightlife probably Key West.

There was a variety of activities available for everyone; ping-pong, corn hole, kayaking, fishing from sea wall and of course sitting poolside. Bugs were out and biting;, just expect it. We had a boat for the week and you’re very close to some great spots.

Some of my group would have liked tv in the bedrooms when they just wanted some down time from everyone to get away. Lots of stuff to do at the house. The set up was unique. Could house three different families at one time.we had a very good time thank you

We had a wonderful time and the house had more than the accomodations we needed and expected. Having the extra parking on the side of the house to fit two average/large size trailers was a BIG plus. Plenty of creature comforts and things to do around the house during the evenings and downtimes. Only thing I'd suggest is bring your own pillows (always a given in my opinion) Hopefully by the time you arrive they'll have replaced the matresses and shored up the frames. That was the only thing that we all felt kept the rating from being a 5/5. Don't let this stop you from renting this place though! We'll be back hopefully next year.
