I have zero complaints about this property. It was clean and well stocked with linens and kitchenware. One small hiccup with the wrong code to check in but the property manager answered our call and walked us through the steps to gain access. It was a lovely vacation and a wonderful neighborhood. I will certainly be booking again.

Great place to stay, especially if you want to bring your boat. There is a small floating dock and there are a few ft of water even at low tide. Short golf cart or car ride to the beach.

Being able to bring my boat and land it at the start of the week was the best part. Having the golf cart for convenience and sight seeing was also a plus!

The home has custom charm but has been very well updated (extensively). Open layout was perfect, inside very nicely appointed, and outdoor views live up. Neighborhood is very quiet and communal residential feel. Can’t think of a single thing we needed - maybe a set of beach chairs would’ve been nice in the garage, but only because forgot ours at home. Easy drive to all of the splendor of the island. Manager plenty communicative but not overbearing. Just right - everything went smoothly. No hesitation in saying we would stay here again.

Doc Holiday is so special to our family. To be able to bring our boat, our fur babies, and be right on the coast we grew up on is truly a gem! This place is perfectly appointed and beautifully decorated. This was our second stay and we are already in the process of booking our third. Thank you SO much for sharing your very special home with us! :)

Such a fabulous home in an awesome neighborhood. The layout is great for hanging out and the kitchen is easy to navigate. The property manager was super accessible and made our stay smooth. Thank you!

The property was clean and spacious. The decor was beachy and very tastefully done which made the house a pleasant place to hang out in. View was nice and the neighborhood was absolutely beautiful. We loved community access to beach as well the sound side views. We enjoyed the golf cart as well. Would stay again and recommend!!!

We had to find another rental as so many roaches. They were in the bed, suitcases, washed them in laundry, watched them crawling in house through fireplace cement holes ...still trying to get money. We only stayed 2 nights....finding them in the bed sent us over the edge.

Also, very convenient to restaurants and shopping.

My mom, my husband, and our three kids (ages 8, 6 and 3) enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing week at Dock Holiday. The owner was very responsive, the house was in a cute and quite neighborhood, and we loved drinking our coffee while watching fish jump in the canal every morning. We really appreciated having access to the beach across the main road, and also took the opportunity to travel to nearby destinations like Beaufort, Harkers Island, and Cape Lookout. Highly recommend renting UTVs and riding around the cape! All in all, this was a wonderful place for us to unplug and recharge.

My parents live in PIne Knoll Shores and we wanted to surprise my Dad for a milestone birthday! Dock Holiday was perfect! We hosted all of the meals , the kitchen is very well equipped. The great room and sun room is super comfortable with so much space to enjoy . We loved this property, the owners have done a wonderful job thinking of everything to enhance the stay. Definitely will stay here again! True to pictures and even better in person!!

Spent a wonderful Christmas time with family that live in PKS. Hosted a family Christmas Eve dinner in the well-equipped kitchen and everyone enjoyed the open layout of the home with great views of the canal. Great place to stay. Thanks.

We were so thankful to find this home, which was in the same neighborhood and only about an 1/8 of a mile from our family in NC! The home was clean, spacious, open and best of all it had a fully equipped kitchen which came in handy for making a few Thanksgiving dishes to bring to their house! My husband enjoyed fishing outback and even caught a flounder! The master bathroom was perfect too! Thanks for sharing your home!

What better way to spend my 40th birthday than at this beautiful home in Pine Knoll Shores with my little family of 4 & my parents! The neighborhood was so quiet & relaxing. My 10 year old son & myself enjoyed riding around the neighborhood on the golf cart & the neighbors were all SO friendly. My mom absolutely loved reading in the sunroom & my husband enjoyed the dock to fish from. He didn't catch much but he still enjoyed the time doing one of his favorite activities. We loved how we were only a 4-5 minute golf cart ride to the beach & the weather was so nice on Saturday, 11/13, that myself, mom, & 2 sons enjoyed time together sitting on the beach.
Even though this was only a short trip (long weekend) it was one of my most memorable trips I've taken with my little family. We will most definitely come back & stay at this little quiet quaint home again, hopefully longer than a few days.

40th Birthday Trip

We loved having our dog with us to share the time on the boat and take for walks along the beach, which is so close to the house. Highly recommended!

Very enjoyable stay with great accommodations
We had a really nice time here! The neighborhood is lively, and the people are friendly everywhere we went. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed having our boat right at the dock so we could go out through the canals to the channel and through the sound to the intracoastal waterway. We enjoyed this house so much! The neighborhood is so nice and it's in a great location. Whether you want to go boating or spend time on the beach, either option is so convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Chose this property because we love boating on the OBX and this place offered us great boating access. Picked a bad boating week but did get to go out 3 partial days. Great house and super location for a quiet neighborhood and superb boating access. Hope to book again
