Clean premises. Friendly owner. Free parking.
Building work was going on nearby from 7.30am. One morning there was an extremely strong aroma of cooking in the property.

location is not far from the airport. Transportation is ok. Not far to get food and drinks.
the room is very small, only one single bed and nothing more. the toilet is also not very easy for a 5 foot 10 guy too.

Friendly and helpful hosts made for an extremely enjoyable stay. The rooms are lovely and a good price, and I felt very secure both in the property and when leaving items there. The house isn’t too far out from the city centre either, and it isn’t costly to get there. Flexibility from the owners meant we were able to arrive at a late time, and could come and go as we pleased with no restriction. The shower is also really nice :)
Parking is limited due to it being road side, so it’s worth using public transport to get around for day-to-day plans to ensure you have a parking spot for your vehicle. Only once was I unable to find a space, but eventually another become free.

The property owner is living with his mom try to rule the poor lady, they always watching you where you go when you go out they ask you as well.

THEY SAID WE DONT USE THE HEATING ITS COST TOO MUCH BECAUSE OF THE RECESSION. ITS OKAY BUT NOT FOR A GUEST FOR 116£/A DAY SLEEPING IN A COLD HOUSE.
THEY CAN FREEZE TO DEATH BY THEY OWN CHOICE BUT DONT PEOPLE WHO PAYING A LOT OF MONEY THEIR LIFE IN DANGER!!!!

Great hosts! Great room, very comfortable, and as a guest - given a lot of freedom. Hosts were great! Stayed for a week and was really made to feel at home with such accommodating and very friendly hosts. Thanks very much folks! John.

It can take the owners hours to return home and then he has the nerve to say well just cancel it where I will incur a fee. Its not right and u shouldn't treat people like this I'm in between houses at the moment and it doesn't help where u have people like this rinsing your money out.

The toilette is always clean. The main host is really nice.
The shower is cleaned but you can see some moisture spot. The main host live with is mom and they both wakw up really early and it wakes you up to. His mom listen to indian music for a good part of the day, so really don't stay in the house during the day. The location is quite far from the metro, but that's fine because the bus statio is really close.

Friendly host who put me at ease and showed me around without ever feeling like I was taking his time, despite being on break from work. It's a well cared for clean environment in a relatively peaceful area. Bathrooms are modern and 10/10, as well as kitchen facilities.
In the small single you'll possibly get a bit of noise from other rooms in the mornings so if you're a light sleeper it's defo not ideal for a lie-in! 25 mins walking to trainlines if you're not comfortable on the bus - I knew this so not a problem.

There was a rat that came into the room, and there were bedbugs on the bed. So an uncomfortably itchy overnight stay.

before I booked the room I asked about the parking because I have a works van I was told the parking was not a problem as it was a residential street. What was the failed to mention that every other house at a drop curb and it was not always possible even to park in the same street. The small room I stayed in. Yes it was advertised as a small room but 6‘ x 5‘ is ridiculously small. I’ve been doing this job for 20 years working away from home thankfully it’s very rare nowadays to find an accommodation like this. Unless you’re desperate don’t what they charge for this room is utterly ridiculous.
