Good location-option for early breakfast if you needed it
Generally very clean-back of door to shower room dusty.
No blinds or curtains on windows.Top floor but good to be able to cover windows to exclude light.

Breakfast poor.
Parking congested

Great location on the sea front. We had a see view which was superb. Parking onsite. Great breakfast made fresh. Close to the harbour, pubs and restaurants. Room was comfortable and well equipped.

Fresh & pleasantly decorated. The room had enough wardrobe & drawer space for a short stay. Pure white clean bed linen. Breakfast was lush. Nice pictures on the walls and the room had everything we needed; we were only there for a very short time, but felt we mattered. I think anyone wanting a longer stay would feel very welcomed.
I don't like being negative as folk work hard in hospitality & often don't get much thanks, but maybe sometimes they're unaware of any issues unless told.
The beds in our room, (I can't speak for the other rooms), needed replacing, they were quite uncomfortable with a hard edge. The hot tap was broken & the drawers needed a clean out/vacuum.

I really like the staff here, who are elderly people with the utmost euthusiasm and passion with this work, which should be appreciated by every working person. Salute! The location of this hotel is pretty good, and you can have the seaview from your window!
Not that I can think of.

Ciean , nice breakfasts, but stairs very narrow and we had to leave big suitcases downstairs and take out what we needed for that evening.

Excellent location, allowed to park up early before check in time which was a real bonus.
Decaf coffee sachets would be a good option and something to prop the window up higher would be handy

Room 7 was in the attic. The bed in Room 7 is tight up against the eve, making it very difficult to lie on the bed where the pillow are, without either hitting your head or having your feet hanging out of the bed. Unless you are a dwarf, really uncomfortable.

Great position and well looked after
5.0
Location - it is a 10 to 15 min walk to the railway station and a 5 min walk from the Dock to get the boat to/from Scilly
The place seems to need a lot of money to bring it up to scratch - it is very 1970s and seems to have a lot of mismatched furniture. The bed was very uncomfortable (was in room 4)

Location
It just needs an upgrade. Showers were very dated. Lots of filler in various places. Paint is cracking on some walls

It was overlooking the sea.
It was a bit cramped at the top of the house.

We were provided with a breakfast we could take on the ferry
Room quite small. Parking limited

Breakfast and location were good with convenient parking.
Rooms and en suites were cramped, staircases narrow and steep, an unpleasant smell in the double room, decor and furnishings dated.

I can see this house is owned by a very friendly and kind old lady and gentleman, as the room and entire house is super clean and organized, and the atmosphere is so comfortable. My double room has a pretty sea view which impresses me a lot. Also, the breakfast is so nice and rich. Overall, I would highly recommend it and hope to be back to live here again!

A very nice location at the seaside. We were lucky to find one ůlast parking space in front of the hotel. A stone´s throw to St.Michael´s Mount and Minack Theatre. View of the sea from the room was also great (luckily it rained and the rain cleaned the window so we could see clearly:-)
For the price it was nothing extraordinary. Sufficient but not great. Breakfast ok, we ordered in the evening and were served what we wanted in the morning (again, nothing extra).

We were taking the ferry to the Scilly isles. The hotel is two minutes walk from the terminal so couldn't be in a better position. The break fast is lovely.
Our room was right up in the attic with sloping ceilings and even at our average height we kept banging our heads.

Nice location very good for free parking along the sea front outside the property
Quite an old style B& B but quaint and good value

It wasn’t perfect but it did the job at a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff (Roy), lovely location, very quiet at night, food was prompt and tasty, two lovely dogs. Shower pressure was amazing, one of the best showers I’ve ever had.
The bathroom smelt like wet dog, and the shower was full of mould, the bed felt very unstable, as people moved through the building it was very loud, the car park isn’t really a car park (a free-for-all cul-de-sac) that on busy beach days is full of double parked cars, the cooker breakfasts had a few hairs in them on both days (I think it may have been dog hair), the “free WiFi” was non existent.

Had to climb many stairs to get to room right up top. Nice breakfast.
Parking was a problem in June.

Location was brilliant. Communication was first class.
The room was really clean and spacious. A decent breakfast was provided on time for us also.
Overall....spot on.
Would we stay there again. That's definite, we've already booked our next stay.
Can't fault it!

Location ideal for the boat to the Isles of Scilly. Room freshly decorated and clean. Available parking right outside.
All expectations met as we have stayed many times.

Lovely room, freshly decorated, really bright and importantly it had good lighting and plenty of well placed mirrors
Bed was too small and bedsted legs too easy to catch toes on

My room was compact, clean and comfortable just for one night. Roy was friendly and helpful.
My room was up in the loft and there were lots of stairs. I didn't mind really but might be helpful to others to know.

The location was perfect; overlooking the sea and just a stones throw from the Jubilee Pool. Easy walk into the town centre too. Our room was quite small, but spotlessly clean with a comfy bed. The car park was full but there was another one just 50m away. Pleasant, friendly owners so we felt very welcome. Really good breakfast, with dairy-free milk and spread available.
Not a complaint, as it was probably just an oversight, but there was no hand soap in our room - but that's ok as we'd brought our own (as I don't like the individually wrapped ones that just get thrown away after use - as lots of hotels have). There were also no teaspoons. We could've asked for them, but it was really no big deal - I'm only mentioning it here so the owners remember to check the room supplies for other folk
