It was a fantastic place and our host was lovely and let us use his canoe's and bikes. It was a great location. Feeling rural but just a 12min train journey from the centre of Amsterdam. Best of both worlds.

More spacious than expected. Nice freebies like free bikes and canoes. Excellent features like the modern heating system and dishwasher. Thoughtful design of the layout of the place. Wonderful shower. Friendly host
It was challenging to find for tourists that needed to become more familiar with the transport system of AMS. Better detailed instructions on how to reach the property from the airport would be pleasant.

everything about this property was stunning. the location was quiet, the facilities lovely. the host is extremely accommodating and lent us bikes to get to the station which is a short bike ride away. it was great to return to the peace and quiet from the busy city. being on the canal was nice and if we had more time we would have taken up the offer of using the canoes. Amsterdam is so easily accessible by riding to the station and then taking very frequent trains.
it would perhaps be difficult for people with mobility issues. but for us everything was perfect

We loved how peaceful the area is, and how the train station to Amsterdam was only a 20 min walk, or a 5min Cycle if you use the provided bicycles (recommended!) The accommodation was very clean and modern and had everything we needed. Everything was exactly like the photos.
Nothing! However, if you're booking online be aware that the 'Tourist city tax' is not taken when paying for the booking, and is paid to the owner in CASH (unless you have a dutch bank account). It is listed on the booking, but I missed it so just be aware.

Splendid view on the fields
The curtain of the bedroom was so transparent, the fist day we were wakened up at 5h45 in the morning. But we did change the curtain with a less transparent, then it was better from the second day
