They have a full fledged kitchen and Restaurants at Hotel Gaurab at Paltan Bazaar, Dehradun. This is at a very busy Market Place of Dehradun with lots of restaurants and food shops in and around this place. The ambience of the Restaurant at Hotel Gaurab is great and the kitchen is good with a wide ranging Menu - (North Indian - Veg and Non Veg). The service of this hotel is good and prompt. At a prime location this hotel has ample parking facility which is extened to Guests who drive with their Car/ SUV.
The Basement Parking can have better lighting.

Breakfast - parotta and bread omlet was very good. Location is Tehsil chowk and is well connected to important chowks / landmarks like Parade Ground (from wherein local public transport is available to various locations), Clock Tower (walking distance - public transport for Forest Research Institute), Lansdowne chowk, Survey chowk. Has tasty eating joints (non-veg) very nearby within 5 minutes of walk. Railway station is within 30 minutes walk. Reception and serving of food was remarkable - which makes the hospitality excellent. A good hotel for those who would need a room, just to refresh and sleep, and spend rest of the time in outing / work.

Linens could have been checked for cleanliness before the guest checks in.
Bathroom was clean; but could have been much cleaner.
Additional items in breakfast preferred - like cornflakes / fruit juice etc.,

Location is good being in centre of the market area. Food is good .Best the service . Front desk & other staffs are very helpful . we appreciate the service of the fellow by name is Anil.
Being old Hotel cleanliness is to be improved specially Bathroom.

Very close to the train station and literally on the corner of Paltan Bazaar.
The staff was trying to accommodate us, they were very reactive.
Bathroom was not cleaned properly.
The door was not closing well.
The electricity was down on two occasions.
The restaurant is not good.

Good Hotel at nice location. Reception staffs are very nice and helping nature. good to roam around for shopping and near railway station. Bazar Paltan is on location and good for food and shopping. Nice Hotel with basis amenities . Good stay.
Needs to improve the House keeping and cleaning of the room. House keeping department must take initiative to clean the bathroom at most care - which would help the Hotel to improve the sanitary norms.
