We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. There was plenty of room for everyone, including the dogs. The surrounding area was peaceful and spacious. It was fun to walk down by the river.
Holland was a great host, accommodating and helpful. She made sure our short stay was a positive experience for us.

The property and location were beautiful. There were a couple of issues upon our initial arrival but the owner took excellent care of us and was very responsive to our needs. We will be back to stay.

Amazing place to stay. House was very clean and great location right on the water. The owner of the property was very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be staying here again! The only thing negative is the trash drop off… it’s the first thing you see and smell as soon as you go through the gate, trash bags had been torn into and was scattered around.. I know this is not the owner of this properties issue but maybe they can mention it to the right people.

This was our yearly getaway with our kids and family friends. Southern Comfort was truly comfortable and very relaxing. Our kids ranged in age from 5 to 13 yrs in age and all of them enjoyed the loft area and bunk room. The kitchen was well equipped w/ everything we needed. We have stayed in Serenity Loop years before and stairs down to the water are a huge plus! Can't wait until next year!!

This was our second time staying at Southern Comfort and we will be back! We love staying here. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need. It is in a great location and the hosts are very nice and helpful.

This place is awesome! Plenty of room for the ten of us. Very comfortable and accommodating. Hope to be able to book next year to do the Caddo River again.

Framily "Christmas" Vacay
We gave this trip as a gift to our adult kids for Christmas and had room for several friends. Relaxing in the river was awesome!! Ms. Holland was excellent in taking care of the minor issues that arose and was a top notch host. Beds are comfy, there are plenty of towels. kitchen is well stocked for all of your cooking needs. Will absolutely be coming back!

This cabin is beyond beautiful! Full of natural light, so peaceful hearing the River water run. Mrs. Harris is always there is you need something. Definitely will come back and recommend it

The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for preparing large meals. Holland was very responsive to answer questions. We can’t wait to return in the summer.

It is a lovely house with excellent river access. We had previously rented the Highlife from the Holland’s and we’re looking to stay there again. It was already booked but we were so pleased to find the Southern Comfort was available!!

Float trip
Southern Comfort was even better than we imagined! Perfect location, very clean, well stocked, and very comfortable! We had Caddo River Outfitters come pick us up at the house to take us to float, then deliver us back to the house when we finished which was VERY convenient. We all really enjoyed hanging out at the house and on the river after our float. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you will need to cook plus a fabulous grill on the deck! Best float weekend I’ve ever had, we will definitely be back! The owners Brian & Holland are very nice & helpful & made everything super easy!

Overall cabin was excellent for us. The kids loved the cabin and the river which was just outside. The only thing we regret is not staying longer. We would definitely stay here again for family gatherings.
