Easy-going landlady, immediate answers to our questions, welcomed us with lovely gifts, comfortable living room with a good sound system, very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen.
No backyard or balcony to use.

Very cosy place, spacious. kitchen fully equipped, TVs in every room. Good information on where to go and what to do. 10 min. walk to railway station and busses.

Location was good and the apartment had a quirky (likeable) feel to it. It also was stocked with any possible appliance you would need. The wine and scones on arrival was a nice touch as well.
Although not such an issue as parking proved to be not that difficult but it maybe an idea to issue a universal parking permit (I've seen this issued at other places I have stayed at). That would mean if there was space you could park your car outside the apartment. That would save having to look for parking places on other streets or using the car park opposite (albeit it is free from 4pm to 9am). I've also mentioned to Bev about the issue with the chap in the below apartment on certain substances he was smoking were the smell drifted into the above apartment. I guess not a lot can be done about that !

Comfortable and attractive place to stay with all the facilities and appliances we needed. The Georgian period features are wonderful. The host Bev made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions promptly. We really appreciated the bottle of bubbly and cream tea awaiting our arrival.
The kitchen being split over 2 rooms was a little awkward when cooking, although it was useful to have 2 sinks. We heard noise (vehicles loading/unloading/reversing etc) early one morning from the alley running behind the house, but only that one day. There were cobwebs around the bathroom window and down the sides of some furniture.

Location was perfect. The beds are very comfortable. The house is very well equipped with everything you need.

Lovely spacious apartment, very homely. Ideally located for the main transport hub. We travelled from London on the overnight train and were able to use the bus and local trains to get everywhere we needed. Highly recommended.

Fabulous, spacious property with plenty of room for our family of four. Two adults and two teenagers 16 & 14. Our son loved his attic room with sea views and our daughter enjoyed staying in her pretty room with double bed. We loved our spacious bedroom with en suite.
The property has everything you could possibly think of, including all kitchen appliances and much more.
The kitchen is a lovely socialable place, and the lounge was very comfortable.
Walking distance to the town centre and beach was fantastic.
Bev is the most lovely host, always on hand to answer any queries. Fabulous communication.
We have very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property to others.
Just a couple of little things, but didn’t bother us.
The alarm for the flat downstairs went off every day and needed resetting. Simple to fix but sometimes 2-3 times in a morning. I think there was a fault.
There are lots of stairs in the property, not an issue for us, but we could imagine difficulties for those with mobility issues. And you just need to remember to bring everything down or up with you, otherwise you can increase your step count for the day if you forget things :)
Minor traffic noise from the road outside and the seagulls meant earplugs were needed as we are not early risers.
No outside space to enjoy the evening sun.
